Amara woke a few hours later the sun still far from rising. She got herself ready grabbing her bag and heading to the hanger. She shivered slightly at the cold breeze as she walked down the empty halls. The emptiness and echo of her footsteps reminded her of the night she left for the Temple's. Once she reached the hanger she spotted bb-8 rolling around one of the x-wings. She made her way over noticing Poe doing a last minute check of their ship's.

"bee bee eight looks bored" Amara laughed catching Poe's attention, the droid beeped at her confirming he was in fact bored. Poe rolled his eyes as he took Amara's bag and tossed it into the open cockpit

"You ready to go?" Poe questioned. Amara nodded as she made her way up the ladder climbing into the X-wing. Poe followed suit. They quickly and quietly piloted their ships to the sandy planet of Jakku. They landed the ships smoothly and climbed out of the cockpit. Amara hesitated not being a fan of sand anymore but followed. The sun was still far from rising.

"So do you wanna go or stand look out with bee bee eight?" Poe questioned. Amara looked down at the droid.

"I'll stay on look out. I haven't seen Lor San Tekka in years." Poe nodded as he headed into the hut where the older man awaited their presence. Amara made her way to a large boulder leaning against it as bb-8 rolled a bit away checking the horizon. The girl played with the ends of her jacket while she waited. The last time she had been on a sandy planet was that dreadful night all those years ago. She tried to stay calm as the memories came flooding back.

Lor San Tekka sat the sack containing the chip with the map in Poe's hand. Poe's fingers wrapped tightly around it

"This will begin to make things right" Lor San Tekka spoke

"I've traveled too far and seen too much to ignore the despair in the galaxy. Without the Jedi, there can be no balance in the force" He added

"Well, because of you, now we have a chance." Poe spoke

"The General has been after this for a long time"

"Oh, the General? To me she is royalty" Poe laughed

"Well she certainly is that"

"And her, keep her safe. This war may destroy her and she will need someone to fall back on" Lor San Tekka said turning his attention toward the opening of the hut. Poe looked at him confused

"You knew she was here?"

Amara could swear she felt Ben's presence close by like she did that night, but she paid no mind to it thinking it was just her brain playing tricks on her, but when bb-8 came speeding at her beeping "their here! their here!" she knew it wasn't. She sat up quickly

"Go get Poe"

"Of course I did. She's strong like her mother, but she has her weaknesses as does everyone else. Be there to remind her of her strength" Before Poe could respond BB-8 rolled through the bamboo curtains beeping at an alarming rate

"We got company" Poe spoke as they exited the hut where Amara now stood. They all shared a quick glance before Poe pulled his binoculars out.

"you have to hide" was all Poe said as he turned toward the older man.
