"Zeke," Caden called once Frederick had ended the call and we looked over at him, "Tony said that there's no one in the library,"

I looked down at Kai to see him placing a hand on his bump as tears filled his eyes. I clenched my jaw and asked, "where was the call made from if not from that building?"

"That's the thing, it pinged from there which makes absolutely not sense that he nor Caroline are there," Caden said, "which can only mean that one of two things, either he's in that building but hiding in a secrete location that it undetected ,or he somehow managed to link a burn phone with Caroline's number and have it be able to ping at the building and they're somewhere completely different,"

"Keep tracing the number, it has to come up somewhere that will lead us to-" I began when my phone rang and I pulled it out of my pocket to see Arrow's name flashing on the screen and pressed the answer and speaker button , "what is it, Arrow?"

"Tony informed me about the abduction of Miss Storm, so while he was checking the building out inside, I got on my computer and hacked into the mainframe which showed me the blueprints of the place," he said getting to business, and Kai looked up  with hopeful eyes, "So turns out that there are five different underground tunnels that leads to five secret rooms,"

"And?"

"And I think, thanks to Master Caden's coordinates from where the call was done, I found where he's hiding with Miss Storm" Arrow answered making Kai sigh on relief though he still looked worried, "I sent a group of guys to go check it out including the other rooms in case he left the phone behind to make it seem that he's in the room I mentioned."

"There's also a possibility that he's not in the area," I said

"I know, that's why I got Spike with me so he could help with the search"

Spike's one of the hundred of dogs that the gang owns and he belonged to ,you guessed it, Arrow. He's one of the best dogs in the gang as he's the best tracker out there next to my dogs. He's a three year old bull mastiff and one powerful son of a bitch.

"Not only that but the others have their dogs here too so it'll be quicker to locate him," Arrow said

"How though? They don't know his scent how would they know who he is?" Kai asked and Arrow chuckled

"Oh they know his scent alright, a dog can never forget their former owner" Arrow replied making Kai furrow his brows and as if sensing his confusion Arrow quickly explained to him that Spike along with the other five dogs—Rambo, Butch, Tyson, Artemis and Harley—had all belonged to Fredrick before we had taken them from him a few years ago when they had still been pups due to his abuse and also because it was a way for me to get back the millions he had caused me during a police raid, "So don't you worry, Donna, if Fredrick's in here, they'll find him"

"Okay," Kai replied before I smiled and took the phone off of speaker and leaving the room. Once out of earshot I pressed the phone to my ear.

"If you find him, I don't care what you do to him, but don't you dare kill him because I want to be the one to get rid of him," I said

"I'd never do anything you wouldn't approve of, Boss" He replied, "Have you contacted Boss Ryder to inform him of the situation?"

"No, he doesn't need to get involved with my business," I replied

"I'll try to get as much information as I can from him before we deliver him to you" he said and I could hear loud barking in the background, "and I think we hit the jock pot," then the line went dead and I know that I should be pissed but right now I couldn't careless about that what mattered was getting Caroline away from Fredrick as fast as possible and then getting rid of him.

"CAROLINE!" Kai yelled as soon as a platinum blond stepped out of the black SUV making the girl look up before running towards us and Kai took her into his arms where she broke down. It had been a whole week until we finally found Fredrick and his gang of twenty. He had been on the other side of town in a rundown railroad station. I had been pissed when our lead went south after Arrow called to inform that the dogs only picked his scent because he had left his jacket behind as a diversion to get us out of his tail. But he was fucking delusional if he thought that we'd give up searching for him.

After five days of searching for him and all coming back as fails, we got word from none other than Ryder Henderson—who gave me hell for keeping this from him mind you—who had found out about Fredrick and the note he has delivered to me.

"I've got my guys on his trail," Ryder had told me not even two days ago, "the son of a bitch's hiding in a rundown railroad thats ten miles from my place. Lex and Hera are already there waiting for your guys to arrive"

"Do you know if he's working with anyone around your area?" I asked

"No, but I've learned that he's got a pretty blond with him though I doubt he's actually interested in her seeing as he's got her tied up to a chair and gagged." He answered making me clench my jaw as Kai gasped as he had been with me when we got his call "also, Hera said that Fredrick has his gang planted there as it's apparently their new hiding place"

"But she's okay though,right?" Kai and asked

"Yes, but I wouldn't blame her if she's shaken up and traumatized after this whole thing's over" he answered which was enough for Kai, "I'll bring her to my place once she's safe before bringing her to you. So don't be alarmed if she's not with your guys when Fredrick's taken to you"

"That's the best course of action now, keep her as far as possible from Fredrick,"

And that leads us to now, Kai and Caroline embracing and crying together with Kai apologizing over and over for putting her through all that.

"Stop that," she said and I raised a brow noticing the English accent in her tone, "you've got nothing to be sorry for, Kai."

"It's my fault you were kidnapped, Care!" Kai exclaimed making her roll her eyes, "And don't roll your eyes at me,"

"It wasn't you're fault, Kai" she repeated again before giving him a hard look, "but you do have a lot of explaining to do."

"Would you look at that," Kai said trying to get his friend off his back but the girl was having none of that as she followed him inside as I stood back watching in amusement at the interaction.

"So what's next?" I looked at my familia and said

"We find the rest of Rick's allies and get rid of them once and for all,"
