It's been a week since I got rid of Fredrick and his men once and for all and things have gone back to normal, well as normal as being a gang can get. Kai is already 29 weeks along meaning our daughter will be here soon. Today was Ashton's first birthday.

So to say the house was silent would be a lie since as soon as I woke up, all I could hear were Kai and his my mother giving the guys—the gang—orders as to where what goes where while his brothers and father were outside somewhere putting up some streamers. John, Lorenzo, Tony and Caden were at the mall according to Dolores. Yes, Lorenzo and Dolores were still very much together despite having a rough beginning. They still have a Dom/Sub relationship something that I'm not to keen on learning. Lorenzo has asked why I didn't join his club even before Kai came into my life but it just wasn't my thing.

Dolores and her brother had also reunited along with his boyfriend and were now part of my gang once again. I did warn him that if he turned this back on the gang again like he had in the beginning that I wouldn't be so lenient and would kill him on the spot. I still have him under surveillance though, not gonna take my chances with him and his partner.

Fredrick's gang were all killed aside from Jackson who had told me who had been behind the note given to Kai on his trip to the mall.

I sighed and shook my head not wanting to think of that day. The bastard had been waiting for us but the   idiot didn't think that I would be four steps ahead of him and has already disposed of all of his men on my way to his hideout.

"It's been too long, Fredrick," I said as I stepped into the old empty warehouse that I once used as my weapons' dealing locations before moving to a diff ent part of Colorado. "You really stood learn to pick better messengers."

"He got you here didn't he?" He asked with a smirk making me smile in return which had him drop his smile.

"Let me tell you something, Frederick," I said as I stepped even further into the building not even stopping when the idiots behind him pointed their guns at me. They'd all be dead even before they pressed the trigger. I heard my own men do the same. "Did you really think that I wouldn't know that you were behind the note? You used the worst person to deliver the message and you know why?"

I stared at him as he glared but j wasn't phased by it, "it wasn't so hard getting the truth out of him. Why? He may be afraid of you, Fredrick, but he's terrified of me. That's the difference between."

"Fuck you,Zeke," he growled

"Not interested, Fredrick," I replied making my men snicker behind me, "You are not my type unfortunately and I'm already married. Which brings me to the reason as to why I'm here."

"He'll be mine, Ezekiel," He replied making me smirk as I pulled my gun out and aimed it at him, "You really  think that you can intimidate me? You're in my territory, Zeke don't forget that."

"You think you have more backup?" I asked looking around at the roughly 40 men holding guns towards me, "Sorry to burst your bubble, Freddie, but you're alone with only these men here to protect you."

He snarled and took out a gun from his pocket and fired a shot that actually hit me but the idiot was a terrible shot and instead dog hitting me on the chest where km guessing he was aiming at, he hit me on the arm. I sighed and shook my bead.

"You're a terrible shooter, Fredrick," I said looking back up at him with a bored expression despite my arm burning like hell. Just because it was a graze doesn't mean the wound doesn't hurt. I could hear my men readying their weapons to fire but didn't move as they knew I wasn't hurt.
