Chapter 9 - Hah?!

The car stopped in a corner of the charity house yard. I was amazed to see the building of the charity house. The building is good for an charity house. A square building with a large garden in the middle. The wall is painted white making it look soothing.

"Good evening, Mrs. Chery!" A lioness come to us. She brough some cloths in her hand.

"Good evening, Miss Judy!" Mrs Chery then turned to me. "Paddle Pop, this is Miss Judy Caterina. Just call her Miss Judy. She's one of my subordinate."

"Nice to meet you, Paddle Pop!" Miss Judy held out her hand.

I then shook her hand. "Nice to meet you, too!"

"Well, Paddle Pop, you come with Miss Judy, ok! I'm going to my office to do some things."

"All right, Mrs. Chery! Thanks for everything." I said.

"No problem, Paddle Pop!"

Mrs. Chery then left me with Miss Judy.

Miss Judy then gave me the cloths in her hand. "These are some of the changing clothes that Mrs. Chery asked to prepare. Hopefully the size fit to you. Also there are towels too."

"Thank you!"

"All right, now I'll take you to your room while I give you a brief explanation of things you need to know."

I then followed Miss Judy's steps. We headed to a building. We then went up stairs. During the way, Miss Judy gave a brief explanation of some rules like the time for eating, the bell that will ring when it is time to eat, must have permit if want to go out of charity house, and several other rules.

Miss Judy also told me where the dining room, bathroom and toilet were. Miss Judy said she would tell all the rooms and facilities of the charity house be more complete during a tour around the charity house in the next day.

We stopped at a door. On it was written the number 09.

"Now, this is your room. Room number 09."

Miss Judy knocked three times on the door and then opened it. But not completely open. Only about a third.

"Now, your roommate is here!" Looks like Miss Judy is talking to someone inside. But I can't see who he or she is yet. "Be fine with him, okay! Remember, don't get into trouble!" Miss Judy's voice rose. "You don't want your power to be permanently locked, do you... Shadow Master?"

Hah?! Shadow Master?!

I then pushed the door slowly until it opened completely. Now I can see who's inside.

Inside the room was a black creature in a black robes with red eyes. His eyes are on mine. He's a figure I never wanted to meet in this universe. He was the one who killed my father and caused suffering everywhere.

Shadow Master ?!
