the perfect dress

Clary's POV

After two hours of getting ready to go try on wedding dresses, Isabelle finally lets me make a portal to go to Idris. When we get there she rushes me into the first wedding dress store. Someone comes up to me and I see it is Tessa.

        "Congratulations Clary." She says, handing me a necklace. I look at it and see it is an angel. She tells me that she has had that necklace since she was born and that she wants me to have it. I thank her and Isabelle tells me to go look at the dresses she has picked out.

        I look at them and shake my head. I go over to a dress that is on a rack and grab it. The store owner tells me that nobody likes that dress and I go into the dressing room. I change into it and step out.

        "Put the necklace on," Tessa says. I put it on and look in the mirror. The dress goes just down to my knees, with another material falling from my knees in the back, it is strapless and gold, and it laces up in the back, and has runes on the front and the back.

        "This is what I want," I say. Isabelle smiles and tells me it is perfect.

        We go to the store next to us for bridesmaids dresses. Isabelle gets a knee length hot pink dress with black lace. We got a sky blue knee length dress with lace for our friend Maia.

        We head back to Luke's to show my mom and Luke the dresses.

Jocelyn's POV

        Clary, Isabelle, and Tessa come through a portal. Clary and Isabelle go to put on their dresses to show us. Isabelle comes out first and I tell her she looks pretty. She thanks me and Clary calls for her. She goes to help Clary, then comes back out. She goes outside.

        "Jace, you can't come in the house and don't go looking in the windows either. You know you can't see Clary's dress," she yells. Clary comes out to the kitchen wearing the most beautiful wedding dress I have ever seen.

        "You look gorgeous," I tell her as Isabelle comes running in and grabs Clary pulling her back to the bedrooms. She yells at us to distract Jace.
