When I am doing Clary's hair and makeup I ask her about the envelope Jace brought her. She tells me she hasn't read it yet, but I can tell she is lying. After I finish I go back to the Institute to get ready. When I am ready I go find Jace to tell him about her response.
"Jace, something in that envelope is bothering Clary."
"Why?" He asks, "did she tell you what it is?"
"No, but when I asked her what it was she lied and said she hadn't read it yet."
"I will talk to her later," he says as the elevator opens. We both go down, and I notice he looks nervous.
"Relax, we all know she is going to accept," I tell him, because we all know it is true. Clary and Jace have been together for two years now, and everyone knows they love each other very much.
