Redemption of a Father (A Sekiro x Rwby crossover)

Prelude

Hello hello~ Welcome to my writing debut. I'll keep this part brief because not many people care but I wanted to give a brief hello and thank you to all who read this because this is my first ever story. I hope I don't disappoint you and give everyone an enjoyable reading experience.

Now that that's out of the way let's get into the gist of this story. I'm a huge fan of From Software and their modern catalog of games Sekiro being one I highly enjoyed. The character I enjoyed seeing (and fighting) the most was The Mischievous Shinobi Owl, and this idea popped into my head while I was thinking about what it would be like if Owl got a redemption as a parent. By the time people see this intro to the story I will be working on the first three chapters which will be mainly character construction and getting people used to my takes on the characters here. Now there's probably someone thinking "why make this a rwby crossover?" which is something I wasn't sure of myself starting out but rwby is a very simplistic world to get into while at the same time having elements that I can use to better mold Owl and my OC that will be his child. An example of this being the faunus. In Sekiro characters have animal names (Wolf, Orangutan, Owl, etc) and with the Faunus I can take that element into a more literal sense that allows Owl to retain a semblance of regularity. The thing about RWBY is.. the story is a heaping ball of anxiety that makes little sense and has largely nonsensical character writing and moments. That's why I will attempt to remedy this by disconnecting my main characters from the main storyline of rwby (they will interweave a little here and there but no one will be joining beacon or anything like that). Another thing I want to touch on is Owl will be the ONLY character from Sekiro that is in the world of rwby. This will hopefully keep my story out of spaghetti writing territory and allow me to focus on one thing starting out which is the relationship between Owl and Ueta (my OC and Owls new child). There will be one other thing from Sekiro that will show up, but that's for later;). One last thing is that I ask people to be lenient with me as this is my writing debut, I will do my best however mistakes are unavoidable so when they occur I am open to criticism of all kinds. If something doesn't sit well with you or you have ideas then I am open to any and all feedback. I do ask you keep it constructive and explain how I fucked up instead of just calling me a shitter and moving on. I will uproot and re-write the whole thing if it gets too nonsensical but I'll try to keep it in the realm of at least decent.
