A/N; In this story, I have presented tribrids a lot like humans, beating heart, blood and they do get tired and sleep. Y/n does need blood to survive but she can also eat to keep her identity a secret and she does possess all of her vampire abilities.

If you have any questions, comment, and I hope you enjoy the chapter. Also, sorry it took so long to update.

After 20 minutes of them muttering about things that were in no interest to me, I decided to leave. I stood up, and strolled out of the compartment, not bothering to close the door shut as I strode father away from the bland bunch.

Explaining how tedious they were probably wouldnt be the best idea, seeing as it is my first day and I didn't wish to -as Dan would say- make a scene. After stepping away, I heard the boy scoff and slam the door shut soon after I had gone.

Pathetic.

I rolled my eyes, again, and wandered up and down the train in an effort to find another free seat.
Everywhere I had passed on my way was full, until I reached the last compartment of the train.

Before entering, I peered through the window to see a dull, but sophisticated room. There werent small carts with plush seating inside and grey carpet floors that looked as soft as cotton. No. Glistening, black tables were surrounded by murky wooden benches that were fixed on top of sturdy, oak floorboards.

It was packed but not too noisy; just the way I liked it.

The squashed hall was dimly lit, as most of the people sat to the left, had blinds covering over the light shining through windows. I scanned the darkened room before sliding its gate with a bit too much force, when it made a large crash as it bashed against its frame.

So much for blending in.

"Sorry" The apology was meaningless, but they didn't need to know that. I made my way through the entrance and into the section of teenagers, where I unfortunately attracted unwanted interest.

All eyes were on me.

Usually, I wouldn't mind being the centre of attention, but my mind was exhausted after my encounter with Susan Bones.

I let out a loud huff before I latched my gaze onto a very familiar face.

"JJ? No way!"

Oh my god! How was this happening right now?!

JJ and I go way back, we used to be best friends and were inseparable. Everyone thought we were dating, but both of us knew that we simply enjoyed each others company. He was basically my brother; we grew up together and would do everything with each other, whether that was setting bookcases on fire, or reading Shakespeare under the tree (which, for the record, he didn't understand a word of). The only reason he would ever read with me was because of my fondness for literature. And because I maybe, possibly, could have threatened to burn his favourite pair of jeans.

He didn't have anything to genuinely fear about me though, considering I would never let anyone touch him. If someone laid a finger on him, theyre dead.

Im a wee bit overprotective.

Anyway, he transferred two years ago, and we lost touch. Sad really, our friendship was the only thing that kept me from falling apart, that is until I met Dan and Hope.

"Oh my Merlin! Irina! Get over here!"

JJ rose from his seat with haste and widened his arms so he could embrace me. Without a second thought, and a giant smile spreading from one ear to the other, I sprinted over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck (I struggled with that part since he had always been really tall). While I jumped up onto him, JJ engulfed me in a bone crushing hug.
