A/n: Hey guys, a few things; there are a few small quotes in this chapter from Harry Potter and if you recognise them, they ARE NOT MINE. There might be some mistakes in here so I'm sorry for that and I hope you like the chapter. _____________________________
"Take care of that wand Miss Salvatore, you won't find another one like it"

A bright light shone from what used to be a brick wall and was now a bustling street. There were shops with brooms and wands, stalls with large candies and chocolates and tons of people pushing through each other.

"Wow" that was all I could think of.

What else could I say?!

I didn't realise but Hagrid had begun walking and I was just stood there clueless.

"Irina hurry up! Dan and Hagrid have already gone, we need to catch up!" before I could reply, Hope was already dragging me past the wall and into the street.

When I looked back over my shoulder, the stones had already moved to their original places without us having to do anything.

My God! It was like everything in this place had a mind of its own.

Within a matter of minutes, Hagrid had wisped us away into a store called Potages Cauldron Shop.

There were hundreds of black, silver and gold pots dotted all around the room. Some of them even had slimy liquids and bubbly mixtures inside of them.

We were walking down the aisle when I saw a spoon mixing green liquid inside the container by itself?

This place is so weird.

After about an hour or so, we had purchased a small, black cauldron, some full-length robes and the other things on my list.

The only thing left to do now was buy a wand and some kind of pet, thing.

"Now er, sorry to leave ye but I have some important business to take care of so I best be off. Since you guys are old enough to take care of yerselves, make sure to get to Kings Cross station and onto the Platform BEFORE 11. Off ye go" he gave us all a slight nudge forward so he could leave.

When I looked around to where he was standing, it was empty.

Hagrid was gone!

I saw Dan blink a few times and rub his eyes to see if his vision really was that bad, but he really was gone.

We shrugged it off and wandered round Diagon Alley, unsure of where to go next.

Hope had stood in the middle of the path reading sign above her before pulling Dan and I in its direction.

"Hope! What are you doing, why do you always have to drag me? You know you could just ask?"

"I know but that's no fun"

We all laughed at her comment and Dan agreed. Once again, I rolled my eyes and opened the door to the building Hope was so intrigued by.

A tall man sauntered over to us and opened his arms to showcase the rest of the room.

"Welcome to Eeylops Owl Emporium. What can I help you with today?"

I was stunned. There were large, small, white and black birds everywhere in sight. I shook my head so I could concentrate on answering his question,

"I was told I need an owl, a cat or a toad. For Hogwarts I mean."

"Oh yes, so your heading to Hogwarts. My dear, going to that school was the highlight of my life. Now, you should most certainly find an owl here. Cats are moody, they have no use and get hair everywhere. And toads, little pests. No no. An owl will suit you just fine."
