A/N: I was confused as to what narration this book should be and since I've not written in first-person narration I want to try it. I hope I do well

CHURCH service was one of the best and I can't remember when last I felt the presence of the lord the way I did early in the morning. I prefer the first service to the second service so I can be able to get ready for work the next day.
Work, My work is the best thing that has ever happened to me well except family. Moving to Abuja had been a bittersweet one but immediately I got the job at Wanse Advertising Agency, one of the best Advertising agencies in Nigeria. Things began to pan out a month and weeks after moving to Abuja. Staying in a small apartment to start a new life in a different location had been the worst. Never had I imagined living alone so many kilometers away from my family.
I was born in Lagos, things led to another I left and moved to Abuja where there was no family and according to research a very quiet place, unlike Lagos. Coming to Abuja with a Lagos sense was great at the same time stupid, as the cost of living was different from that of Lagos. The early morning movement of Lagos had done a number on me as Abuja was different, their day started by 10, unlike Lagos which started anytime. And another thing I couldn't get used to was the distance, the business area where far from the houses took a while before I could understand my movement but I've grown to love the place.
After looking for a job for a whole month and getting a great position as an assistant editor, things started to take a different turn, and all my savings were put into getting a new and clean apartment that would feel homey. I got so excited finding the closest apartment to my workplace which was hard as Abuja is built differently.
I got out of my car which I parked in a free spot in front of another tall building next to mine. All the apartment buildings in the estate are owned by a rich Senator and each ten buildings has twenty-five flats. A friend at work lives in one of the buildings in the estate and was the one who got me to check the apartment and I can't be thankful enough.
I pulled out the bags of groceries I had purchased on my way home and headed to the elevator but as I got to the front, my best friend Amina ran towards me happily. Amina has been one of the best friends anyone could ask for most especially after coming to live in a whole new place with regrets behind.
Amina's brown skin shone as she walked closer to show every much how she takes proper care of her skin and has been friends with her, skin care was pushed down my throat. Her body clashed with mine in a hug, one that felt comforting but our height difference made it short.
Amina smiles at me nodding at my Dressing. I wore a red slit skirt and a black blouse, my short bob wig under my black scarf that I wore to church.
"How was service?" She says after I press the button on the elevator.
"Fine... Why are you back early?"
Amina is a Muslim turn Christian, she had taken her mother's religion after her death but still observed some rights of the Islamic religion just to respect her Dad.
"The house was already too full... And I can't miss your promotion."
"What promotion?" I shook my head, yes I am expecting a promotion but let's pretend I don't know about it "Anyways how was the trip?" We walked into the elevator as soon as it opened.
"Okay..my siblings came home."
I gasped like I had not heard earlier when she said the house was full, staring at her like she was insane. "All ten of them..that would be a full house."
