             ~ 24th December, 2021~

Every day since the beginning of the week has been one event after another. The Christmas carol yesterday was interesting, everyone showed up and showed out. Even the song we had practiced was well received and Dad promised Eli something to reward his hard work. Christmas Eve is a different day and it's the most intense day in the family because every year there is always a fight. Today however is the Christmas party day for the foundation, a serious dinner party, the last function for the foundation to close the year, and every person was invited and preparations were already in place.

The ladies that is Tana and Victoria decided to do the most out of the dinner, booking a mani and pedi appointment for themselves and of course me, cause they can't do much without me. Tolu backed out to stay with the men and I couldn't be more happy. The tension brewing between Tolu and I can't be explained and I want every opportunity to leave her proximity.

"This feud going on between you and your sister better stop this year. I don't understand why for four years you are still holding each other in your hearts." Victoria says as we get into her car. I ignored her, there was nothing in this world I wanted more than to reconcile with my sister but making the first move was out of the question. I have tried to see things from her point of view but it's worthless. What more can I do?

We first stopped at the spa to get massages which was very elevating and brightened up my mood and I knew everything we do today would be worth it. Tana and Victoria were talking about marriage and women in marriage I couldn't but sit and listen to my sisters talk like experienced wives.

Tana and Sam have been married for almost ten years now and they act like kids, the cutest kids. Their love is so sweet and welcoming, I sometimes wonder if they are just husband and wife, it's not like those Instagram couple goals that everyone comments "God when". It's something very worthwhile so when she gives marriage advice I tend to listen, eight or ten years of marriage can teach someone a lot. It's like without each other they are not complete. Why would two grown-ass people bet on someone's love life, it's funny and from that, I know they are the best of friends. Sam was always a strict older brother and never showed love but he met Tana, and boy, my brother changed. He became thoughtful, listened more, and behaved more responsibly than strictly. Their love is a testimony to life.

Then there's Mofemi and Victoria. One thing I know for sure, Victoria loves her man, Mofemi. She may pretend to be the hard girl but I know for sure how much he means to her. My siblings are blessed, it's sweet to see how in love they all are even Tosin and his long life girlfriend Lilo, whom he has refused to date.

We did small Christmas Secret Santa shopping before shopping for Tana's dinner dress as she didn't bring one like every other person had prepared for the black tie party. We went to numerous shops before Tana could pick a black dress that showed cleavage and legs. She needed to get her husband in the mood like she had said.

Some minutes before we are late for our mani and pedi appointment, we get to the salon. Lucky for us there were three empty pedicure chairs for us. Victoria sat in our middle joking about being our group leader and the middle was the right spot. They brought champagne for us while the workers got busy.

"I have something I have been meaning to ask?" Tana says and I just knew the question was for me.

"Here we go." I roll my eyes at her but she ignores me

"For almost five years in Abuja, there was no man that checked you out or invited you over?"

I laugh at Tana's question, her questions are always the weird and hilarious ones. How do I even explain to my sister that I preferred my work to date after finding out Timini and Moyin were dating and planning their wedding behind my back? "It just happens to be that there were no Men." She was shocked by my answer, her face said it all and I couldn't but laugh.
