"Now that I.." they continued to sing softly, as (Name) reached out and tucked a hair behind Shoto's ear. "See you.." they finished both leaning extremely closely, lips inches apart, hands tangled into each other, as (Name)'s hand continued to slowly caress Shoto's cheek.

The two leaned closer, closing their eyes, lips almost touching. When a bright green light near the shore caught (Name)'s eye. Squinting at the two figures, his eyes adjusting at the bright light, to see a familiar set of twins.

The two motioned for him to follow them, before turning back and fading into the dark forest. "Is.. everything okay?" Shoto asked, leaning back and glancing at the direction (Name) was facing. "...Huh..?" (Name) whispered, before quickly correcting himself. "Oh.. Yes.. Yes, of course." he replied, nervously chuckling at himself.

"I just.." he started, staring at the satchel placed beside Shoto. He looked down, deciding his options. It was like his mind suddenly blanked, he remembers the story of Rapunzel, almost everyone does. He knows all the princess stories, he was sure of it. Yet in that very moment, he suddenly forgot everything.

He remembers the characters, the villains, heck even the animal sidekicks. Yet as if it were magic, he doesn't remember the plot. At all. He remembered making a short plan about it, how things were gonna work, how he'll protect Shoto. Yet as soon as he saw the twins, he blanked.

Remembering the previous events with the twins, he recalled how they tried to kill him during the flooding of the dam. Something about... stealing the crown? Fortunately, he could still remember past events of the story, yet his mind went blank when he tried to think of the upcoming events.

Realizing he was thinking for too long, he glanced back at Shoto. He wore worried look in his eyes, wondering what the other male was thinking about. (Name) finally decided what to do, after gathering his options. The only logical thing to do was to follow the twins, in hopes that neither of them hurt Shoto.

Letting out a short huff, he began to row towards the shore, confusing Shoto even more. After a few minutes of rowing, they arrived. (Name) rushed out of the boat and pulled it onto the sand, quickly walking back to Shoto he explained, "I'm sorry, everything is fine." (Name) explained, trying to calm down the worried Shoto.

"There's just something I have to take care of." he continued picking up the satchel next to the other. Shoto gave him a long doubtful look, glancing from the satchel in (Name)'s hand back to his face. "..Okay." he hesitantly replied, giving (Name) a forced out smile.

"I'll be right back." (Name) reassured the half and half, before turning away and following the direction he saw the twins walk away to. Seeing this, Takashi climbed onto Shoto's shoulder, giving him a worried look. "Its okay, Takashi." Shoto reassured, glancing down at the red chameleon on his shoulder. In all honesty, he didn't know if he was trying to comfort himself or Takashi.

Walking further into the woods, (Name) caught a glimpse of the familiar set of twins. Passing behind a couple bushes, he exclaimed "Ah! Their you are!" walking towards the two. "I've been searching everywhere for you guys since we got separated." he explained, watching as Tetsuo sharpened a branch with his machete, sitting on a rock.

Hoping to avoid the thick tension, he cleared his throat, "Anyways, I just wanted to say I shouldn't have left you guys back there." he continued, gripping the satchel tighter in his hands. "The crown is all yours!" he exclaimed throwing it onto the ground beside the twin, the crown falling out from the force. " I'll miss you, but I think this is for the.." as he was turning to leave, his face bumped into a hard chest.

"...Best." looking up he saw the scary blank face of the other twin, blocking his way out. "Holding out on us again, eh, (Last Name)?" Tetsuo questioned, continuing to sharpen the branch. "What?" (Name) replied, growing even more confused, "We heard you found something." the twin stated. Stopping his actions, he got off the rock, throwing his machete towards the ground and hearing the satisfying sound of it plunging into the gravel beneath them.

"Something much more valuable than a crown." he continued, walking towards the other, completely ignoring the crown in his path. "We want him, instead." he finished, walking even closer and trapping (Name) between the two. The smirk he previously wore was replaced with a chilling frown, eyebrows furrowing and cold piercing eyes stared back at him.

Shoto stood outside the boat, waiting patiently for (Name)'s arrival. As he continued to stare at the direction (Name) left, he caught a glimpse of a silhouette walking back towards him. The figure was slightly blurry due to the fog, but it still looked like a tall, built man.

He sighed in relief, shoulders slumping back "I was start to think you ran off with the crown and left me.." he explained, a relieved smile on his face, as he shyly tucked a loose strand of hair behind his ear.

The figure walked closer, before it split up and revealed two identical silhouettes walking closer and closer to Shoto. The smile previously on Shoto's face immediately disappeared, a shocked blank look replacing it, as his body froze.

"He did.." Tetsuo replied, a smirk tugging at his lips. "What? No, (Name) wouldn't do that." Shoto exclaimed, a determined look on his face, glaring back at the twins. "See for yourself.." Tetsuo replied, his hand pointing towards a leaving boat.

Shoto squinted his eyes, walking closer towards the sea. "(Name)?" he whispered to himself, shock written on his face, the fog clearing slightly to reveal a familiar silhouette of his companion. His hands on the stirring wheel, as he escaped back towards the kingdom.
