After she got done reminiscing on the sweet card she'd gotten, she checked the clock and it was around 11.

She decided to head downstairs and down some water before bed to help cleanse her system and make her feel less dull.

As she walked downstairs she found a pink bag on the table with a note that read...

You thought I was done?

She smirked and tore the tissue paper from the bag peaking in...

She pulled out a locket necklace, and when she opened it and picture of the two of them was inside.

The back read something in Chinese, and there was an extra note in the bag to dictate just what it meant.

The writing on the back means "I love you bubba"

She grasped it in her hand and kissed it, feeling him closer than ever since he'd been gone.

Kylie walked in and saw her smiling down at her hand.

Kylie: "want me to put it on you?"

Kaycee: "that would be great"

Kylie smiled and clasped the locket around her neck.

Kylie: "that came while you were in the shower, and I thought it would relieve some of that stress"

Kaycee nodded gratefully.

Kaycee: "I really miss him Ky"

Kylie: "I know, and I can't imagine what it's like"

Kaycee: "I just feel like he's here, but...like he's not close enough to protect me if something happens and that's been my biggest fear ever since I found out about the China trip. He knows me better than I know myself."

Kylie: "the fact that you're the most selfless person, and wanted him to go on this trip without you for three months says so much about your character."

Just then Kaycee's phone started ringing and she glanced down to see Sean's name.

Kylie: "I'll leave you to it"

Kaycee: "thank you"

Kylie: "make sure you tell him you love him"

Kaycee: "I always do"

Kylie smiled and walked delicately up the stairs, leaving kaycee to chat with Sean alone.

Sean: "you seem happy bub"

Kaycee: "mhm, I thought you couldn't call tonight?"

Sean: "couldn't help but sneak one in"

Kaycee: "I got it."

Sean: "got what?"

Kaycee held up the necklace that hung below her chest.

Sean: "do you like it?"

Kaycee: "it's perfect, and it's the first time I've felt this close to you since you've left"

Sean: "that was my goal babe"

Kaycee: "thank you, it means a lot"

Sean: "there's no reason to thank me, you've been through hell and back just this week alone, it's the least I can do."

Kaycee: "seeing him tonight just made me feel...trapped"

Sean: "how come?"

Kaycee: "the way he looked at me tonight was the exact same look I saw when I closed my eyes and fell out of consciousness"

Sean: "baby..."

Kaycee: "and Josh texted me earlier, they got into a fight after I'd left"

Sean: "like a physical fight?"

Kaycee: "I heard there was black eyes and bloody noses"

Sean: "shit"

Kaycee: "but babe"

Sean: "hmm?"

Kaycee: "I don't want you getting into a fight with him when you come home, I know you wanna protect me but please"

Sean: "okay princess"

Kaycee: "I couldn't bare to look at your face knowing he hurt you"

Sean: "it'll be my punishment for not being here when you needed me"

Kaycee: "no, I told you to stay in China baby, don't say that"

Sean: "I know, I just feel guilty"

Kaycee: "You shouldn't, you made up for everything tonight I promise"

Sean: "kiss me through the phone"

She smiled at his cheesy line and blew him a kiss through the camera, receiving one back.

Kaycee: "have fun the rest of today okay?"

Sean: "I'll be thinking about you"

Kaycee: "I love you so much"

Sean: "I love you more bubba, sleep well"

Kaycee smiled and let him go, feeling content but still on edge.

She wanted that gross feeling to go away but she questioned if it ever really would.

A month later, kaycee woke up crying.

She'd had another night terror about the rape and she couldn't contain them.

Kylie rushed into her room and calmed her down, holding her while she heaved.

Kaycee: "I can't keep having these Ky"

Kylie: "maybe you should talk to mom and dad about seeing a specialist kayc, it's normal"

Kaycee: "no"

Kylie: "we need you to get better"

Kaycee: "there's only one person who can heal me"

Kylie: "Sean can't come home right now kayc, I know that's what you want but-

Kaycee: "I'm asking mom to book me a flight to China tonight."

Kylie: "kaycee you-

Kaycee: "I need him, I haven't taken one step in the right direction since this happened, he's my only hope."

She cried, knowing that this was what she needed to heal.

Kylie: "are you sure this is what you want?"

Kaycee: "can't you see? I'm miserable. I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't even dance!"

Kylie: "are you gonna tell Sean you're coming?"

Kaycee: "I dunno yet, but all I know is, I can't stand to be apart from him any longer"
