you was at the club
bottoms up
when i first met you
i couldn't get
enough
you made me say:
wassup?
You captivated me,
I didn't care if it berated me;
Everything about you screamed 'yes pls'
I wouldn't care if I was your seconds, sloppy
I just wanted a piece of the pie,
Unaware of the price; no matter how high.
Just wanted to tear into you, all night;
All day, wherever, whenever, as long as I had a bite
Forbidden romance, love at first sight;
I couldn't take our first fight.
Foundations crumbled,
The dough went stale,
When I couldn't keep my hands of the cookie jar
And my belly rumbled;
Insatiable destruction ruined
everything we'd build up.
I'd do it all over again if I could;
Hit rewind and go back to that night once more time,
And relive everything, without hitting rewind;
Because that night you looked pretty fine,
Like a wine;
The one we got wasted on (remember that?)
The chances are fat;
You've moved on to the afterlife,
Everything I do seems haunted, a strife
With your ghost would be the last thing I need,
So let's just put it to rest, and plant a seed.
If we call it a draw, no-one will lose,
And we can both rest in peace.
