"Where's Sukuna?!"
—~—
Third Person POV
"Lady (y/n) lay back down!"
"I'll go grab some water and food!"
"Where's the medicine?!"
"Hey hey, it's okay. Breathe..." Hamamura calmly whispered over the chatter. The (e/c)-eyed female desperately looked around the room and her breathing became frantic as Hamamura rubbed circles on her back.
As the poor girl hyperventilated and continuously asked for the man named, Sukuna, the servants of the palace panicked about the sudden recovery. Hamamura noticed how everyone's behavior affected the awoken royal and became irritated.
"Everyone leave!" Hamamura shouted over the noise as the rest halted in shock.
They took that as a sign to exit so the other servants bowed and hurriedly left the room. With a relieved sigh, Hamamura attempted to calm down her master.
"Where's Sukuna?" (Y/n) asked again as her (e/c) eyes looked up worriedly at Hamamura.
"Do you mean that pink-haired man?"
"Yeah! He was with me when the curse attacked."
"Don't worry, lady (y/n)," Hamamura reassuringly said, "He brought you back here safe and sound. He said that you defeated the curse-"
"No, that's not true! He was the one who defeated it, not me!" (Y/n) exclaimed and scanned the room once again in an attempt to find him, "Is he okay?!"
"He seemed fine when he dropped you off a few days ago," Hamamura stated and the girl sighed in relief before a realization seemingly hit her.
"Few days ago...?"
"Yes, lady (y/n). You were stuck in a coma for the past four days-"
"B-But this happened today..." (y/n) trailed off and looked down, "Did I really fall into a coma...?"
"Lady (y/n), please lay down and get lots of rest. I'll bring you food and water," Hamamura stood up and was about to walk away until the young maiden grabbed ahold of her kimono sleeve.
"W-Where is Sukuna...? If it has been a couple of days, where did he go?" (Y/n) asked in an almost defeated tone. Although she was the one that had been hurt, (y/n) still worried over others other than herself and Hamamura gave her a pitied smile.
"He said he left town."
"I see..." (y/n) mumbled and loosened her grip on Hamamura's sleeve- a bit disappointed that her friendship had come to an end.
Hamamura lightly squeezed (y/n)'s hand reassuringly, "But I bet he'll come back soon."
"What makes you so sure...?"
"Just a gut instinct," Hamamura smiled and booped the (h/c)-nette on the nose and (y/n) giggled, "You know how I'm always right about these things."
"You're right," (y/n) smiled back at her.
"Now get some rest, I'll be back-"
Before Hamamura could finish her statement, the sliding door slid open as (y/n)'s father came into view. Not a word was spoken as he pulled his daughter into a hug and- not willing to admit- let a couple of tears fall.
"Father-?"
"Thank the gods you're alive..." the male mumbled- the situation becoming too real for him as it was for his beloved wife, "I'm so proud of you (y/n)."
