Chapter 12: Unexpected

Hiccup's POV

     Toothless and I decided to take a break and go for a flight. It's been a few weeks since I saved Berk for the second time, convinced Berkians that dragons are good, my dad died, my mom came back, and so on and so forth.

     What do you say bud? The dragon sanctuary? See what's left?
     Do you feel up to it?
     Do you???

     We took off into the midday sky leaving my mom in charge. She knew she wanted me to relax especially with everything that has happened. After a few hours we finally flew into the cave tunnel of the sanctuary. We reached the forest where all the dragons used to live. They all live on Berk now. The forest was untouched by Drago's ships. I got off Toothless and knelt on the ground. Broken and sad. Toothless nudged me with his big head.

     Thanks bud...
     Toothless looked up perking his ears. Hiccup there's something out there...
     What do you see? Hiccup suddenly looks up to see what Toothless was looking at.

     Is it possible???

     I got on Toothless at his last words and flew off going to the black dot that was now getting bigger as we came closer. We landed on the rock the body was sleeping on.
