'I had him Peter!' You yell angry as you enter the common room.

'No you didn't!, you wouldn't have been alive if I wasn't there to stop him!'

'Why don't you ever trust me?! Huh?! Why does it always have to be you receiving all the credit?'

'That's not what I'm trying to do!'

'Feels like it!, every time I try to take care of a bad guy, you swoop in and not even give me the chance...'

'Because I don't want you hurt!'

'PETER WE ARE BOTH SUPERHEROES!'

'Oh boy.... we're in for a little show...' Nat sighs.

'Yeah I don't know about that for sure..' He snarls back and you turn to him with a shocked look on your face.

'Excuse me?, Do you think you're better than me or something?' You retorts

He stays silent and you scoff. 'You fucking do...well there goes our friendship...I'm so done with you... you know that?'

'Well I'm done with you too, I work better alone anyways... I hope our friendship is worth it, you're ruining it right now...' he snaps.

'I am?! Wanna play the blame game Parker?! You always patronise me! You make me feel like I can't do anything right, like I'm a burden rather than your partner! We've been friends for ages but never in my life have I felt so miserable, and the moment I speak up about it you just drop me!'

'Only because you drop me too when you feel like it!'

'When?! Please give me an example Peter because I don't recall ever cancelling on you, or trying to hold you back! I've always been there and the second I tell you something that bothers me, you just either ignore me or argue with me!, some fucking friend you are!'

'Y/n/n-'

'No!, who gave you the right to tell me how I feel!, I really had him today, and you know it but the second I call you out... you get defensive... I'll tell you another fact Peter..'

'Please do.. now that you're at it-'

'You're a shitty friend! And partner! If you call yourself my friend then I don't want it!'

'Well maybe I don't want you as a friend and partner either! You constantly whine about every aspect of this life! You can't fight properly and you always get in my way!'

His words cut through you like a knife, it physically hurts your heart to hear him say the exact thing to you that you've feared all this time.
