Chapter 20

The Hyuga clan library. Neji, Hinata and Naruto, all three were rummaging through rows and columns of book shelf. There was a pile already gathered at their feet. Mostly books were on Hyuga history, byakugan origin, its traits and versions and also on seals. After some more ruffling here and there, the three ninjas carried the gathered pile to the table in the far corner of the library. What was intriguing was they were not making a single sound. Like a thief searching for treasure in someone else's den, the three kept it as quiet as they can. Finally someone spoke/ whispered.

"I think this should be enough for now Naruto-kun. We can only sneak this much book out of the library without getting caught." Hinata whispered to the other two. Her previous meek voice going even lower. But surprisingly there was no stutter.

"Yeah I think so too. While Neji and I seal these books in scrolls, you go look out for us. Just do your 'eep' when you see anyone. No one will find it odd." Hinata 'eeped' at her friend's teasing, thereby, proving his point. She playfully kicked the now smirking blonde's leg only to miss it. And thus, began their war of silent kicking and dodging.

Neji rolled his eyes at his sister and friend's antics. Man, ever since Hinata-sama has started her training with the snake mistress (his face made a constipated expression, thinking of the said jonin's dressing), she has turned bolder. She is still sweet, and innocent. But a playful personality has also emerged from within the otherwise gentle Hinata. And a sadist personality too. He shivered, thinking of their last spar. He is glad he changed his ways long back.

By now the other two occupants had already stopped their little game, and were curiously watching the I-have-a-stick-up-my-ass, stoic Hyuga, lost in some other world. But why is he shivering? Hmm. Did he forget his girlfriend's birthday again?

Naruto coughed twice to get the in-trance Hyuga's attention. Which, when the other didn't give, he wasted no time in kicking the Hyuga out of his fantasy world. Now that got him the attention.

"Neji please come out of your Tenten world and focus on the present task", said Naruto. Hinata giggled on seeing the red face of her brother.

"Maybe its the library Naruto-kun. Neji ni-san is reminiscing about------" Before Hinata could finish her sentence, a hand blocked her from speaking further. She saw her brother's face turned such deep red that she bet even she never in her life blushed that hard.

Neji couldn't believe it. The simple Hinata, when did she turn into such a pervert. But who can he blame but himself. Why? Why did he loose control in library that day? He even forgot it was a public place and, and, he did....he had 'that' with Tenten. Oh kami.

Before he end up suffering a panic attack, Neji spoke, composing himself like a Hyuga. Damnit. He is a Hyuga. (Deep breath) Anyway.

"Hinata-sama, I think you should go check if someone is in corridor or not. Me and Naruto will take care of the books."

The other two occupants only snickered at the Hyuga prodigy's expanse but didn't push the poor person anymore.

After that, the trio sneakingly went out of the Hyuga compound with scrolls carefully tugged in their clothes, all the way to Namikaze compound. Reaching the gate to the Namikaze house, the trio went inside the house.

Seeing the eerily silent house, Hinata couldn't help but ask, "Naruto-kun, where is Himawari and Kushina?"

"They have gone to dad and pervert's place. Itachi took them. Man even then I don't feel easy leaving my daughters with that open pervert."
