Chapter 36

The border of Kumogakure. A cloaked figure jumped from tree to tree. Followed by three other. They moved stealthily, occasionally looking back but never stopping. Soon the leading person stopped and looked around. The other three followed the suit and one of them spoke,

"Sasuke-kun, one kilometer west from here there is a waterfall. Behind that waterfall is Orochimaru-sama's west base. The place lies enough distance from Kumogakure's border and is well hidden. We will be safe there from any ambushes." A girl's voice sounded in the dense forest. And instead of responding the girl, the leading person directly started jumping from tree to tree in the direction pointed by the girl. The teammates followed behind.

It took them time but soon they reached the said waterfall and true to the girl's words, there was a cave hidden from people's view, a giant boulder hiding it very naturally. A set of seals were also, it seems, in work. The person, the girl, who spoke earlier very proficiently worked her way through the seals and unlocked the snake Sennin's hideout.

Entering the hideout, under the dancing flicker of candle lights, the four shadows revealed their faces. A red head with specks, a white haired boy with shark teeth, an orange head with red beastly eyes and lastly a black haired boy with onyx eyes.

"Jugo, check if there are any sick experiments of Orochimaru lurking around. Kill them if you find one." The Uchiha spoke authoritatively and the orange head, Jugo, moved to perform the said task.

"Suigetsu, gather the ninja supplies from the arsenal and look for possible exit routes in case the mission fails tomorrow." The white haired nodded at the command and too went his way, leaving the red head and the Uchiha alone.

"Karin, prepare five element seals for Hachibi's capture. It is said he is in tone with his tailed beast. The seal should be enough to weaken his connection with the beast." The Uchiha spoke to the last person in the room but all he got in return was hearts, thrown his way. A tic mark formed on his head and he snarled impatiently.

"Karin"

"H-Hai Sasuke-kun. I will do that." But the red head still didn't move, devouring the Uchiha of his last drop of patience.

"KARIN UZUMAKI"

And surely that got the red head out of her Sasuke-kun world and she immediately hightailed out of the room.

Sigh. Another fangirl.

Shaking his head helplessly, Sasuke moved towards the cabinets, placed in the left corner of the room and took out three scrolls at once. Taking an ink and pen, he started scribbling on the empty scrolls. In less than five minutes, he was done with all of them. Looking towards the door and seeing no one there, he performed a set of hand signs and slammed his hand on the ground. A seal formed and a puff was heard. Three snakes came out of the smoke.

Without wasting anytime, the Uchiha spoke,

"Aoda, Garaga, take these scrolls and deliver one to Tsunade-sama and other to Akatsuki leader." Giving the snake summons each a scroll, he waited for them to poof before turning his attention to the third snake summon. A small green snakelet.

"Tagorihime, take this scroll to Naruto and don't return without a reply." The snakelet hissed at the command and slithered away. Despite being a new summon, Sasuke knew the small snake is the most efficient one. That is why the snakelet was trusted with the most important scroll.

With the task done, the Uchiha then started going through the snake Sennin's various scrolls. It must have been few hours before he was done reading through them. His other teammates were also done for the day and have already retired to the bed. Sighing to himself, Sasuke walked along the corridors of the hideout towards the exit and in the dead of the night, sneaked out for a night stroll.
