"Wait what. The projection ended. But we didn't even see much. Not fair." Ino whined, not caring about her image a bit.

"Troublesome. But I think we all saw everything". Shikamaru commented lazily, not really wanting to go into a banter with his blonde teammate but knowing her, there is no escaping that.

" No we didn't see how Naruto's daughters look like. The projection ended too soon."

"Yeah even I wanted to see his daughters. Especially after we saw..." Tenten trailed off mid sentence, remembering how the people they 'spied' on were sitting right there, clueless to everything the others did.

Others got what the weapon user didn't say and sneaked a glance at the two lovebirds, only to find both of them lost in their own world. But even someone with no eyes can see the look of betrayal on the Uchiha's face. But that was to be expected. The one he loved had kids with someone else. Given it is in future. But betrayal is betrayal. The pain of it will not ease.

But Naruto's mind didn't register any of this for his mind and eyes stayed on the two girls. Especially the red one. She looked just like his mother.

Mom. Naruto thought.

"Naruto, it seems you finally found what you were looking for. That red head really looks like Kushina."

"Right. And my daughters also got my whiskered cheek. Look look." Naruto bounced back and forth in front of kurama, looking the happiest at this moment.

"Hahaha. Yes yes I can see. I can see your happiness. Now go, focus back on projection" Kurama reminded his jinchuriki. He was happy for his little kit. But something was bothering him and he didn't want to ruin his kits happy moments. So he kept his thought to himself. Where exactly is the Uchiha? He hasn't come in any of the genin's projection. His kit even have his own daughters. And if there is one thing he know about his kit, it's that he is not a cheater. He never betrays, especially when it comes to that one Uchiha. Those girls are his daughters for sure but who is their mother. He seems to be getting this wild idea in his head. But before voicing them out and worrying his kit after, he would rather wait and see the Uchiha and Naruto's projection before he make any wild guesses.

Meanwhile back in the office.

The group sighed at the silent duo. What can they really do? Especially when the future blonde looked so happy with his daughters. Sigh. Well, moving on. Shikamaru answered his teammates question before her words can create more awkward moments than already.

"Troublesome as it is but I think most of us saw how Naruto's daughters looks like. Just watch the projections, I am certain they will come again." Especially in Neji's projection. Ofcourse he didn't say the last part. Being a Nara sometimes have a disadvantage too. They are too smart for their own good.

Shikamaru, from all he has seen till now, has fairly good idea of few things. Like who was the one Neji mentioned in Tenten's last projection. He said about being trusted by his friend who got him out of darkness. He even said because of that said friend they became parents. In return all that person asked was safety of his daughters. Which he failed. Combine it with Lee's and Neji's projection. Mendokusai.

Seriously, this future projection keeps getting more troublesome. Shikamaru thought. For the first time, he wished he was wrong. Lets just wait and see.

Ofcourse the same track was running in some other genius minds too. Like Shikaku Nara. Hokage. Kakashi. Our plus one addition. And ofcourse our hyperactive blonde. But they kept it inside. No use overthinking. Lets wait and see.

The ball once again glowed red and another projection played.

A 19-year old Neji and Tenten were standing in front of the Hokage office. Its seems they were mentally preparing themselves for something. Taking deeps breaths in and out, the older male extended his hand towards his wife and interlocked both their hands. Giving each other encouraging look, the Hyuga knocked on the door, earning a 'come in' from the inside.
