Subaru arrived at school the next day, Emilia by his side. She was looking down at her phone, hearts appearing on the photos she double-tapped.

"That'll be Immediagram she's on then..." Subaru muttered, not quiet, but quiet enough Emilia didn't her him.

Subaru looked upwards at the building's roof. Like Friday, Felix was standing at the roof's side, looking down at the people walking into the school. When Felix's head would be aligned with Subaru's, he would wave to him.

Rem and Ram walked in behind Subaru and Emilia, Rem was barely walking and more so shuffling, whereas Ram was almost marching like an army lieutenant.

"Hello Emilia." Ram said, not acknowledging Subaru's existence at all.

"Hi Subaru" Rem said, Acknowledging his existence. Subaru smiled the cheesiest grin imaginable, and responded with a "Hey Rem!" back. but before a conversation started, Subaru noticed someone from the corner of his eye. a creepy, green-haired person. his eyes were large, and he wore a robe. in fact, there were about six of them. not all identical, but all in robes.

The freak just started at him. Subaru didn't want to look away, even though he felt as if he had to. Very briefly his head turned. and in that split-second, The creep had made his way over.

Subaru's heart raced with fear. The guy was way too close to him, and Subaru didn't really feel like talking to him.

"Are you the one they have been calling
P R I D E?" he asked.

Subaru didn't say anything.

"Well, are you him?" The freak responded.

Fortunately, Ram swung a pointed foot into his back.

"Fuck off Petelgeuse, go target someone else." she told him

"Getting someone else to do the work for you.. how slothful." He said, walking back to his gang with his tail between his legs.

Subaru could only assume his name was Petelgeuse. He turned to Ram to say thank you, but she arrogantly turned her head with a 'hmph'.

Oh well. He had a date with Frederica later. Let's just look forward to that.
