Chapter 3. Rick Royal Gamer

The military was desperate for more soldiers.

They were losing more than they were getting. The battle between them and the Gamers was very fierce!
They were making their rookies plus Lydia work and study twice as hard as the normal schedule.

"Put your guns up high!" The commander ordered.
They put their guns up pointing at targets of Gamer soldiers.
"Now show me what you got! Ready! Aim! FIRE!" The commander exclaimed.
Everyone spammed their guns as Lydia was shaking, struggling to hold her gun and aim.
She locked onto her target as her heart skipped a beat and quickly pressed the tigger!

BANG!

She had shot the head off!

Commander saw her first shot and was impressed. "Good shot soldier! Practice some more," He ordered.
She was hoping she wouldn't have to bring this training to use in the future, but she was willing to do what she had to do.

   
Rick was on his way to Janwarchod to go get Lydia.
He didn't want her on Janwarchod while a world war was happening, he was worried.

The planet gets closer into view as Rick soon flies into orbit. He landed outside of Oac Kingdom.
Rick hit a device on his foot with his other foot and turned into a white-wolf furry.

It was a disguise to help hide his real looks, he knows they won't let a suspicious looking Hucums in.

He walked to the gates as it opened. He felt anxious; He doesn't know what he'll say to Lydia after all of this time they've been apart. He looks for the number of Lydia's apartment through the tight streets.
He finds the number and looks up at the small building.

He walks up to the door and takes a breath.

He presses on his foot as the disguise fades away.
He knocks and waits; staring awkwardly at the door.

The door slowly opens as someone peeks out.

"Rick?" Yokes questioned, opening the door.

"Hey Yokes! Is Lydia home?" Rick questioned.

"Um-- No not at the moment," Yokes replied. "Well, when will she be home?" Rick asked. "Probably not for a while... why?" Yokes answered. "What do you mean she won't be home for a while? And I came to get her off planet until the war is over," Rick said.

"Well--- um, Come in, it's rude of me to keep you out," Yokes said and let him in.

"Where is she, Yokes?" Rick got worried. "She recently joined the military," Yokes said. "The what?? Why would she do that?" Rick was confused. "She wants to help with the war, not run from it," Yokes answered. "Oh my Pewds," Rick couldn't believe it. "I don't think you can get her out once she got accepted," Yokes said.

"I understand... it'll be nice to just see her again," Rick replied as his back faced Yokes.

"It was nice seeing you these days," Yokes said and smiled. "Lydia should be at the training base north from here, they should let you talk to her if you ask,"

"Thank you," Rick activated his disguise and turned around. "It was nice seeing you these days too," Rick said and shook Yokes' hand. Yokes was surprised by his disguises as Rick walked away.

"It's hard to stay sane these days," Yokes said as he closes the door.

Rick traveled to the palace on foot to the military training base.
He asks to talk to Lydia.
"Who wants to talk to her?" The person at the desk questioned.

"Rick," Rick answered. "Rick who?" They asked. "Ricky... Dicky," He answered. "Okay. And who are you to her?"

"A brother," Rick said.
