Five, the clock ticked to five. Sehun should be back hours ago as he said he was going to be quick. Did they ask him to stay for work? Or was he caught up with something else? Luhan checked his cell phone, but there were no messages nor missed calls. Trying to calm himself he took a deep breath and exhaled.
After minutes of randomly switching of channels, Luhan heard their apartment door open and closed with a loud slam. He was startled so he turned the television off and ran to the door.
Sehun sat down as he leaned his back on the door with his eyes closed and Luhan can't help but notice that he looked paler than how he was when he left for this morning. Luhan ran to him and knelt down beside him, 'Sehun— Sehun, are you okay?'
His brother slowly opened his eyes and looked at Luhan, as he did, he suddenly pulled his hyung for a tight embrace, 'Hyung' he whispered softly as he held Luhan's head and his face was buried in Luhan's white neck.
'W-What's wrong, Sehun?' Luhan asked, and then he felt Sehun's head shaking.
'Sehun, please... what happened?' he asked once more, but Sehun just shook his head again. Luhan grew nervous, he couldn't think of any reason for Sehun to be like this. Whatever that happened, must've been horrible for him.
They stayed in that position for a while, until Sehun pushed him lightly as he held his shoulders, 'Hyung, I've got a surprise for you' Sehun's beaming smile showed.
'Surprise?' Luhan asked, a bit surprised by Sehun's smile.
'Yes, but we need to leave right now, okay?'
Luhan nodded, and Sehun quickly stood up as he pulled him with him. As they got in front of his room Sehun looked at Luhan and said,
'Hyung, you go to your room and get some clothes and stuffs'
'W-Why? Are we leaving for the night?'
Sehun nodded and continued to smile, 'Just for a few days'
He just needed more time to prove that Luhan is getting better, he just need to prove it. When he does, Luhan won't be needed to be taken away from him anymore. If they let him stay, Sehun was sure to help his hyung recover and helping him recover is his top priority. If he can show them that being with him was the best, then they won't be needed to be separated.
After packing their stuff, Sehun took Luhan's hand and they got out of their apartment and into a cab. When they got in the cab, Sehun spoke to the driver, 'Station please' Luhan wanted to ask Sehun where they were going, but as he felt his hand being held tightly by Sehun, he didn't bother to.
From the cab to the train to a bus and to another cab they finally stopped in front of a small house – the street where they were is empty and quiet. Their apartment were hundreds of kilometres away now, this doesn't look like the city they were from. Luhan felt his chest grow at ease for the feeling they were some place far away now.
'Come on, hyung' Sehun smiled at him as he grabbed their suit case
'Wait, Sehun' Luhan pulled his shirt, 'Where are we?'
'Oh, I forgot' he chuckled, 'welcome to our house, hyung'
Luhan felt his jaw drop and then he was pulled by Sehun into their house. His eyes wandered in the small house as Sehun closed the door behind them. It was small but it felt comfortable and cosy. He continued to wander inside, looking at every small detail he could remember.
'I – I can't believe this' Luhan started and he heard Sehun chuckle again, he turned to his brother and asked, 'When did you— How did you?' he stuttered
