It has been exactly three days since Luhan started to stay at Xiumin's apartment. It has been also three days since he last saw Sehun, even when he went back to their apartment the following morning just for the sole purpose of getting more clothes, Luhan wasn't able to take a glance at his brother's shadow. That morning he came back, their apartment was stiff quiet.
Luhan was relieved that he didn't have to face Sehun, he didn't want to see what expression Sehun had. He also was half-expecting to see Daeun that morning. It was possible, Luhan believed. Sehun is a grown man after all. But that morning had all his assumptions washed off. And he still felt a lingering pain from the night before.
A week passed since Luhan left with Xiumin and hasn't gone back to their apartment. Sehun was devastated, but he was left with no choice but to accept it. With Daeun worrying for him, he decided to continue on with his plan to go to China, with only one thing changed. He wasn't going to spend Christmas with the whole family anymore.
'What do you want for Christmas?' Xiumin asked as he held his cup of hot coffee playing with Luhan's hand, as they sat down by his terrace.
'I want white Christmas' Luhan chuckled as he said that, it was mid-December right now. Just a few more days and Christmas will be here.
'Now, how could I make that happen?' Xiumin pouted, his lover looked back at him with a cheeky smile plastered on his beautiful face.
'I'm just kidding, all I want is to be with you' Luhan replied, a gleaming smile that could thaw snow was presented to Xiumin.
The man just couldn't help himself— he put his cup of coffee down, and wrapped his arms around Luhan's slender waist. He pecked Luhan, softly, warmly and teasingly. It made Luhan laugh. Xiumin's heart would flip and skip a beat every moment they were together, he felt as though he's complete. He didn't want anything else, he had Luhan in his arms and that was it. That was enough to suffice everything he needed.
On Christmas day he planned. He planned to propose to Luhan. He was sure, he wasn't afraid of anything. Xiumin knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Luhan. Taking him away and marrying him was the choice he had. And as Christmas day came, Xiumin was gradually becoming more confident with his plan.
Meanwhile, Sehun was getting ready for their travel to China. He fixed the papers needed, organized his schedule and informed their mother. As his hyung said, their mother was far from happy with the thought of meeting Daeun. She even said that they should stay until New Year's. Sehun wanted that, very much. But he just couldn't... He and Daeun had work that would wait for them.
He also couldn't shake the thought of leaving his hyung. He wanted to patch things with Luhan before the next year comes. It might have been best if he would patch it up before Christmas, but Sehun as considerate as he was, thought about giving his hyung the space he needed. He believed that Luhan was still angry with him, or something.
'Where are we going to stay in China, Sehun?' Daeun asked as she looked at him as they sat down on Sehun's sofa.
'My mom insisted for us to stay at her place is that okay with you?' he asked
Daeun nodded happily with a smile, 'Yeah, that's okay. I'd rather be at your mother's place so you could have the chance to make up for the years you weren't together'
Sehun smiled to what she said, 'Thanks, Daeun' he said
'Have you talked to your brother?' she suddenly asked removing Sehun's smile
