Chapter 2
I deiced I'd needed fresh air after the incident. I told Madeline to just drive herself home after school ended, because I was just going to skip the rest of the day. She never asked why. She just simply nodded her head, and walked away from the cafeteria.
Walking down the dirty sidewalk, while scuffing my old, black converse I wore, I thought about what happened not too long ago
What was all that about anyways? How'd the glass break? Why'd the glass break?
Millions of questions stirred in my head, and with those questions many more branched off. I didn't like it. The questions crowded my mind like honey bees to honey, and the worst part was I couldn't answer even one of them.
As my mind buzzed with my eyes glued to the sidewalk, I ran into someone. I fell to the ground with a loud 'THUD'.
"Jeez, watch where you're going next time!" I yelled at the person who bumped into me. That was not nice! My anger bubbled inside of me like a volcano getting ready to erupt. I don't know why I was overreacting over something so stupid, I usually wouldn't. I guess I'm just angry at all of my unanswered questions.
"Well sorry," Someone sneered back. It sounded like a guy, but I wasn't too sure because I was more focused on if my butt was going to bruise or not. "Maybe you should watch where you're going!"
I looked up to meet the most beautiful grey eyes I've ever seen in my life. They were so deep. It was like I could get lost in them forever and always be happy, but before my anger could subside and happiness could walk in, his voice interrupted it all, "Got a staring problem!"
I rolled my eyes and commented a snide remark, "No, I was trying to figure out if you were your mother was ugly Betty or not! Now excuse me, I'd rather be on my way, than stick around and find out."
"Hum, that's weird I was getting ready to say the same thing!" He flipped his bronze colored hair aside and shoved past my finally standing body.
I fell right back down and heaved out a frustrated breath. "Wow! I'm sorry you can't get a better come back so you had to use mine!" I stood back up and walked further down the sidewalk.
"You wish girly!" His voice sounded farther away, and I was glad for that.
I swear I'd go crazy if I would've been around him another minute! Gosh, people like him just get on my nerves! Especially with his stupid hypnotizing eyes, and disgustingly lushes bronze hair that seemed so silky. It's just so disturbing! Why do people like him have to be on this mud ball of a planet!
"MOM," I screeched through the front door of my house. "I'm home!" I just the door behind me and walked into the kitchen.
I heard a muffled voice coming from somewhere in the house, "whie mome so hearly?"
"What'd you say?" I yelled, hoping my voice wouldn't be as muffled as hers.
"Why home so early?" I heard her shout from a place closer. So that's what she said!
"I decided I needed a day away. Do you want to know something super weird?" I answered her question while she walked through the kitchen doorway.
She narrowed her brown eyes at me, "Do I want to know?"
I nodded my head back and forth, contemplating my answer for once. "Well, the school are most likely going to tell you anyways, so yes, I'd say you'd want to know."
"Okay, shoot!"
"During lunch, you know the wall with all of the glass on it?" I waited for her answer, and got a mere nod from her head. "All of it broke. I mean all of it. Not one piece of glass was left attached to it. And I don't even know how it happened! It was really weird!"
