Letters to Rudy [The Book Thief Fanfiction]

fifteenth letter.

My Rudy,

So much time had gone by, but I would only summarize things for you. It can't be too long, nor too short.

Throughout all the years that I haven't wrote to you, our kids grew up to be somewhat like normal children. We grew older of course, in which I hated sometimes because I notice that I had very visible wrinkles in my face. But a very good thing though, you will always tell me I'm beautiful and I am always flattered with that.

Anyways, our eldest son Tommy is eight years of age and is currently in second grade of elementary. He's incredibly smart and he loves to read just like me, but a difference of course because he doesn't steal books. He also loves to run, and we always get to attend all the kiddie races he attended and we would cheer for him and just like you, he is always determined to win. Sometimes he gets lucky and sometimes he isn't. And our Tommy also has a crush on his classmate named Karla, and he gets too shy when he is with her. Cute, ja?

And well, if you're wondering if the twins grew up, of course they did. They're now 4 year olds who are currently attending Nursery (that involves a lot of playing and learning the basics). They learned the alphabet quite slowly, still confused of the letters 'G' and 'J' and they wondered why they almost sound the same. They were learning numbers quite faster than alphabet, although they could only count one up to seven. Eventually, they will learn how to, just like Tommy.

We also observed the the traits of our twins are let's just say, different. Rosa seems kind of gentle and not brutal and Hans, is the opposite one. I don't mean to insult our parents in Himmel but I guess I was pretty amused by their raits.

Now I have reached the end of my letter. I'll write sooner if I can.

I'm sorry that I updated late. It's because I am busy with school but maybe tomorrow I can update. I'm sad to say that this fanfiction is going to end soon but don't worry, I'm going to write another fanfiction but it's not about The Book Thief.
