Chapter Nine

Sirius sighed as he woke. He got dressed and ran down the stairs, Remus smiled lightly at him.

Sirius wore a black shirt and a tie, he smiled back at Remus as he fixed his hair and grabbed a cup of coffee, Remus walked over to him with a cup of tea in his hand. He sipped at it slowly and smiled.

"ready for the interview?" Sirius nodded at the question.

"nervous?" he nodded again and Remus chuckled.

"it is to be expected love... Big day" Sirius had become intrigued with mugles. Thanks to Rons father, Arthur, Sirius had become interested in working in the department that Arthur worked with, in the minestery of magic.

He smiled and put the cup down, as he went to leave the house Remus lent over and kissed him quickly.

It gave Sirius confidence as he walked towards the fire and floo'd over to the weasley's house. Arthur grinned at him and they went to work.

Sirius came back with a big grin, he had gotten the job. "hey! The Weasley's invited us over for dinner Remus, Harry!" the two looked up and smiled.

"how did it go?" "it went well, i got the job" Sirius smirked as they both stood and came over hugging him.

"Im glad... It will get you out of the house" "i thaught you liked being together moonie?" Sirius said with a slight rumble in his voice.

Remus chuckled and shook his head, "i do but its good for you to have something to do... Ill go and get Ash" Remus said as he walked towards the stairs.

He placed his hand on the banister and turned around. "well done pad foot" he said with a smirk before disapiering up the stairs.

Sirius shook his head and Harry laughed.

Remus walked into Ash's room and looked at the girls bed, "Ash? You okay?"

She pulled the covers back from her body, Remus squinted in confusion as he thaught he saw the new cuts on Ash's arms. She covered them quickly and he looked back to her cut face.

"what?" she mumbled quietly, "the Weasley's asked us over for a dinner... Sirius got his job you ready?" he looked at her as he face changed slowly.

"r-remus... Do i have to?" Remus looked at the slightly shaking girl, "i think it will be good... Come on" she stood and Remus winced as he saw the cloths hanging of her, now thin frame.

She looked at him and he closed the door as she changed, when she came down the stairs she was dressed in a gray jumper and black trousers.

They walked into the fire place and went to the Weasley's.

Ron ran down the stairs as he heard Harrys voice, "hey Harry!" "Ron!" they hugged eachother and grinned.

Molly and Arthur greeted them all until they came to Ash, she bit her lip and looked up.

The smile she put on was fake, they could see that but none the less they grinned back and greeted her.

"hello Ash... Welcome to the Weasley's household" Arthur said as he shook her hand.

Ash was surprised as Molly hugged her tightly, she did not want to attack as she usually would do, instead she wanted to melt into the woman in front of her.

Molly had a strange calm scent and Ash felt calm around her, she was sad as Molly pulled away but she nodded and hid her sadness.

"who is ready for food?!" Fred and George ran down the stairs and grinned. They spoke in unison, "hello Professor Lupin... hi Sirius, Whats up Harry?"
