Chapter Twelve

Ash was clean, she pulled on a baggy t-shirt and pyjama bottoms.

She did not use a spell to conceal her cuts and scars.

She walked down stairs and saw the four adults sitting on the couch. "Ash, come and sit" Ash wanted to be the strong Alpha she needed to be. But she knew these people, she could show her weekness around them and they would not judge.

For her young pack members she would be strong but for now, she would show her soft side.

Molly smiled as Sirius moved across the couch and pulled her to sit down next to Remus. Sirius knew that she was the closest to Remus, weather it was the wolf bond or one they had made themselves, he knew that Ash needed the support.

She sat down and Molly handed her a cup of tea, Ash's hands where shaking and she nearly dropped the cup.

Arthur took the cup from her hand and Remus cupped his hands around Ash's. She looked up and let a tear fall, "i-i should be stronger" she mumbled.

Remus pulled her into his chest slowly. "somtimes it is good to be strong, dear...sometimes we have to show out week side so we can be stronger" Molly said as she sat back and Arthur placed an arm around her shoulders.

Sirius nodded and smiled slowly as Remus held Ash close to his chest.

"thank you" he nodded slowly.

"im ment to be your Alpha... Im not doing to well at that" she said with a sigh as she turned around and placed her back against Remus' chest.

She felt the chuckle from him radiate through her.

"i think you showed your Alpha skills at dinner last night" she nodded slowly as an arm was placed around her.

She was safe, she was on her own turf with those she trusted the most. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

"the cuts... They will scar" Arthur said as he looked at Ash's face. Remus nodded slowly and sighed.

"she has a lot on her shoulders... She has to train three pack members and still has to protect Harry and provide for us" "what do you mean protect Harry?" Molly asked. "well... She promised to protect him, always untill she died... That is what she has done and that is what she will continue to do" Arthur nodded.

"you two are close" Molly said. "i dont know if its the Alpha Beta thing... Im still very new to it all myself.

Remus blinked slowly and closed his eyes.

"come on you two, bed" Sirius said as she shook them both awake.

Remus growled angrily but he woke. Ash opened her eyes as she felt Remus move next to her.

They walked up the stairs quietly, Ash went into her own room and walked over to the window. At the base of her window was a big window ledge, the window itself was quiet big and looked out over the forist and the river. It was not the biggest room but it had the best view.

Ash sat on the ledge and brought her knees to her chest, she sighed and rested her chin on her knees and stared at the stars as they slowly twinkled by.

Jake and Aaron woke and ran into Ash's room, luckily Ash had heard the two wake.

She had put the concealing spell on her body quickly before they came in. She growled at them, "knock the next time!" they stood motionless before nodding quickly.

"get dressed, now! Your going to school!" "do we have to?" Jake said.

Ash raised her eyebrows at him and he swallowed and ran of to get ready.
