-2 months later-

It had been weeks since I saw Tommy and Wilbur, and everyone could tell I wasn't doing too hot, even Dream who I'd been growing closer with since my return. I was about to leave my house to go see them when Dream came walking up with Alex.

"You're not going alone," he said with a smile.

Dream had a backpack on, but I shrugged it off and began to walk with the boys towards the outside of town. Once we got to the border, I jumped on Alex's back and made him carry me to Pogtopia. When we got there, we followed the pathway to the main area which had grown a lot since I was last there.

"Dream! Big Q!" Wilbur pauses and looked at me. "(y/n)?"

I jumped off Alex's back and waved.

"Hey Will."

"(y/n)!" He yelled running over to me and wrapping his arms around me for a hug.

When Wilbur let go, I looked around and realized that Tommy wasn't there.

"Wilbur, where's Tommy?"

"He went to your spot, hoping you'd show up. He's gone there every day for the past two months."

My face dropped. Without hesitation, I went to leave. Alex grabbed my arm and gave me a questioning look.

"Alex," I said looking at his hand and then him. "Let go, I need to go see Tommy."

He hesitated, then let go of my arm and nodded. I speed-walked my way out of Pogtopia and sprinted to the spot Tommy and I used to go to and do everything together. As I ran, I dodged trees and branches, trying to get there. In my rush, I didn't see a set of roots sticking out of the ground and tripped, sending myself rolling across the ground. I sat up looked around. I was almost there. I pushed off the ground and set off towards the spot, finally seeing it come into view. When I broke through the clearing, I looked around and saw Tommy sitting on a rock, staring into the lake. I walked over and sat down next to him.

"Hey, Tommy."

Tommy looked over at me, shocked.

"(n/n)...?"

"Yep, the one and only."

"Is this real?"

"Uh, I think so."

Tommy smiled, then his face dropped again.

"You left us! How could you? How could you leave me? For two months, I've watched Wilbur go crazier than the day before! I've waited for you every day here!"

"Tommy, I'm sorry. I've been working every day to get you back." Tommy looked confused. "I need you all back," I said, lowering my voice to a whisper.

"(y/n) I..." Tommy paused and looked at my forehead. "You're bleeding," he said raising his hand up and touching a cut on my head, making me wince in pain. "What happened?"

"I tripped running here, it's nothing."

"Okay, well now that you're here, let's catch up."

-

"Tommy, that's like the sixth time in a row that I've knocked you down," I said helping him back up.

"Shut up, we should get back though. We've been out here for hours and it's starting to get dark out."

I sighed, "You're right Tommy. Today was really fun."

Tommy smiled and hugged me. I hugged him back and we let go. He grabbed ahold of my hands and looked me in the eyes.

"Don't be a stranger, yeah?"

"I won't be, I'm not going anywhere."

"Promise?"

I nodded, then we both started moving back towards Pogtopia. As we walked back, Tommy kept looking at me, but I ignored his stares and stared straight. When we got to Pogtopia, Dream was leaning against a wall outside while Alex and Wilbur sat on the ground.

"There they are, how was your day children?"

"Really good, actually," Tommy said with a smile.

"We have to get back," Dream said looking at the two of us.

My face dropped and Dream noticed.

"We'll be back soon guys, don't worry."

Tommy and I looked at each other and smiled then hugged. Alex gave Wilbur a handshake, then Tommy before we headed back to L'manburg.

"Glad to see you're smiling (y/n), I could tell you were missing something," Dream said to me as we walked back into town.

"I'm just glad I've had you two by my side through this all. In a few weeks, this will all be over and we can all be together again," I said grabbing Alex's hand and resting my head on his shoulder as we walked.

"Yeah, I'll see you guys in the morning," Dream said, breaking off from our small group and heading towards his house.

I walked with Alex to his house and then headed to mine. When I got inside, I locked the front door, then went to my bed and collapsed immediately.
