we have to end this

"Tommy, you fuck!" I yelled at him while I held my arm.

"I'm sorry!" he said kneeling next to me. "Holy fuck that's a lot of blood!"

Tommy grabbed his hoodie and wrapped it around so that my arm would hopefully stop bleeding.

"You've got some bruises on your face too," he said pointing to some.

"So do you," I said standing.

"You had some good hits. It'll be good for the war."

"War?" I asked, acting clueless.

"We have to end this. The 16th we take back L'manburg, you're on our side, right?" Tommy asked.

To avoid suspicion, I looked Tommy directly in the eyes while I answered, "of course I am Tommy."

"Good, let's head back and get your arm patched up."

Tommy helped me up, and we started walking back to Pogtopia. As we walked, Tommy kept apologizing for hurting me and I kept reassuring him it was okay. When we got back, Dream and Wilbur were sitting at their table talking.

"Looks like you guys had fun," Wilbur said which made Dream chuckle.

"Haha you're so funny Will," I said taking Tommy's hoodie off my arm and looking at the cut.

"Oh shit, let's get you home (n/n)," Dream said once he'd seen the cut.

I look down at Tommy's hoodie, noticing all the blood on it. He was about to grab it when I pulled it away.

"I'll wash it for you, Tommy."

"I better get it back then."

"You will."

"Alright, we'll be back soon," Dream said to Tommy and Wilbur as he put his hand on my back and started to lead me out.

Once we were out of Pogtopia and out of earshot of anyone Dream started talking.

"What the hell were you guys doing?"

"Hand to hand, I fell over and cut my arm on a rock. It's not a big deal. How'd it go with Wilbur?"

"He's got a lot of TNT laid down under the town's podium area."

"Well, the 16th should be interesting, to say the least."

"Yeah, you obviously need to get better at fighting before then."

"Hey! I got Tommy pretty good!"

"Clearly not the rock though."

We both started laughing as we re-entered town. As we walked, Alex and Karl were walking and they saw us coming, so they stopped and waited.

"What happened to you?" Karl asked looking at my arm, then the blood-stained hoodie in my hands.

"Just tripped and cut my arm on a rock, nothing a little cleaning and a bandage can't fix."

I saw Alex looking at it and gave him a weak smile.

"Karl, do you mind if I walk (y/n) home and help her clean her arm up?" Alex asked.

"Not at all."

"I can take care of her if you guys were in the middle of something," Dream said looking over at me.

"No, it's okay. We were just catching up."

Karl and Alex said goodbye, then Alex walked with Dream and me to my house. When we got there, Dream gave me a hug then waved to Alex before heading back to his house. Alex and I went inside and to the bathroom.

"Sit," he said pointing to the counter in the bathroom as he dug through my cabinets to find peroxide and bandages.

"How did you manage to do this?" Alex asked as he finally found what he needed and then looked at my arm.

"I was with Tommy and we were just doing hand to hand cause we were bored. Tommy swung, I went to dodge and slipped and cut my arm on a rock. It's not a big deal."

"I thought you were going with Dream?"

"We had to tell Schlatt that because we were going to Pogtopia."

"Oh, alright. Let me see your arm."

I held out my arm and Alex grabbed the peroxide, then slowly poured it on my arm. I winced in pain, and grabbed Alex's hand, squeezing it.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, it just hurts like a bitch."

Alex wiped my arm off, and then grabbed the bandages and wrapped it.

"All done," he said, setting down the bandages.

"Thanks, Alex," I said, hopping off the counter and smiling at him.

"Anytime cutie. Next time, please be more careful."

"I'll try. Wanna go relax?"

"I'd love to."
