the secret bunker

-3 days before the war-

I was standing outside of Dream's house with Techno waiting for him to come outside because Techno had something to show us. I was looking around when I heard the door open. Dream came walking out, a smile on his face.

"Techno, (y/n), how are you both doing?"

"Pretty good, are you guys ready to see what I've got to show you?" Techno asked as we started walking through town.

"Yes," I responded as we passed the white house.

We continued walking through the woods until we came to a hole covered with a trapdoor.

"Techno, what is this place?" I asked him as he opened the trapdoor.

"This is my secret bunker."

He pulled open the trapdoor then looked up at me.

"Ladies first," he said pointing at the hole.

I look at Dream hesitantly, then gave in and kneeled down next to the hole.

"I hate you Techno," I said looking over to him as I lowered myself through the hole and grabbed onto the ladder.

As I climbed down the ladder, I looked up to see Dream above me. Being the immature yet funny child that I am, I tried messing with Dream.

"Damn Dream, George was right when he said you had a fat ass. You pretty thick."

"(y/n) shut the fuck up," he said trying to hold back laughs.

"Oooo, yes daddy Dream," I said laughing and almost losing my grip. "Oh my bad, only George can call you that," I added.

"(y/n) stop," Dream said before he started wheezing.

I started laughing and wasn't paying attention which caused my foot to slip. I looked down and saw I was only a few feet from the bottom, so I just dropped down and landed with a thud on the floor. Dream appeared a few seconds later and Techno not long after him. Dream was still laughing and I couldn't help but laugh with him. We calmed down a bit and I looked around.

"Techno this looks like your house, but smaller."

"We haven't gone all the way yet," he said walking over to a door and opening it to reveal a wide staircase.

Dream and I followed him through the door and down the set of steps. When we got to the bottom, we ended up in a room full of fighting supplies.

"Woah," I said looking at Techno who was standing at the bottom of the steps.

"Do you two think it's enough for everyone fighting for L'manburg?"

"Yes."

"Speaking of the war," I said grabbing the boys' attention. "Techno, let me come fight with you guys for L'manburg and then switch on them after we beat Schlatt."

Techno looked at Dream.

"I don't see why not," Dream said shrugging. "You're less likely to get injured that way anyway."

"Yeah okay. While we're here though (y/n), you still need fighting help with hand to hand, and lucky for you, I have a training room. Follow."

I looked over at Dream with a confused look, then we both followed Techno down a hallway and to a massive area with mats and other stuff.

"You just have fucking everything, don't you Techno."

"Yeah, yeah. Let's get started."

-

I reached for Techno's hand, letting him pull me up from the ground once again. I looked into the mirror on the wall and saw my face had bruises all over it from sparring with Dream while Techno coached.

"You're getting better. Dream could be going easier, but saying he's one of the best fighters in the town, you're better off fighting him too."

"I know," I said, eyeing Dream.

"Alright, let's go again," Dream said setting up himself again.

I took my stance and stared into Dream's eyes.

"You realize going into this war we're fighting for different sides?"

"I know," he said with a sigh. "In the end though, we're on the same side."

"I know."

Dream took a step forward and swung at me, and I dodged barely.

"Almost," I said with a smirk.

"We'll see."

I took a swing and Dream grabbed my arm and pinned it behind me.

"Like I said," Dream whispered into my ear.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked getting out of his grip and knocking him on the ground.

I turned and looked down at Dream with a smile on my face. Techno approached at my side and rested a hand on my shoulder. Dream was smiling now too and I reached out to help him up.

"How did you get out of that?"

"I'm not telling, let's go again."

-

I sat in Dream's kitchen while he cooked dinner.

"Dream, we should stage something for the war."

"What do you mean?"

"Like hand to hand. You said Schlatt is gonna end up surrendering, what if we get in a fight and I beat you or something, then you run back to Schlatt and convince him to surrender?"

Dream thinks for a moment then nods, "I think that'd be a good idea. Everyone will think you're on their side for sure then."
