You barely got any sleep last night as you kept on thinking about the kiss.
Gosh this is driving me crazy!!! Wait- Did Mingi see the kiss too?? Ahhhhhhh!!! You thought and started hitting your head harshly.
"Woah woah woah!! You'll hurt yourself!" Soojin said fixing your hair as she handed you some water to drink.
"Are you...ok?" She asked.
"Yes! I am TOTALLY okay! I am fine!!" You sarcastically say and leave for classes and Soojin runs behind you.
*during the break* You were standing in the balcony, still thinking about the kiss when some juniors were running around and they accidentally pushed you. Which made you almost fall down from the railing but you balanced yourself.
"Shouldn't you apologize to her?" Someone said and you look up and see Mingi scolding the juniors.
"She almost fell down. Apologize." He said as they quickly apologized and left from there.
"Are you ok?" He asked as he stands beside you. You just nod because you were nervous whether he saw what happened yesterday.
But you didn't know Mingi had already forgotten everything as he was very drunk last night. "d-did you reach the dorm...safely last night?" You ask trying to avoid eye contact.
"Yes i guess" he said cluelessly.
Does he not remember anything? You thought.
*in the class*
"What?????? I kissed y/n!?" Jimin whispers.
"Yes you did, idiot!" Soojin said hitting his shoulder and Jimin hides his face getting embarrassed.
"Aish why did i do it????" he says hitting himself and Soojin stops him.
"Shh..just pretend like you don't remember anything" She says and he nods, still feeling embarrassed.
I should go and start a conversation with her so she doesn't feel awkward... He thought and started searching for you.
On the other hand, you and Mingi were still chatting at the balcony. "How is your part time job-" You couldn't complete and you trip again as Mingi holds you to prevent you from falling.
He stares at you but then quickly lets go of you. "Wh-why are you so clumsy?" He says and looks away.
"Y/n.." you hear a familar voice and you turn around to see its Jimin.
You get awkward and he comes towards you. "Did you sleep well?" He asks as he puts a little smile on his face.
So he doesnt remember anything either? Oh ya they both were very drunk last night! You thought and take a sigh of relief. You were just about to answer his question when his phone rang.
"Hello eomma? What?? I am coming!" Jimin says as he hangs up and quickly runs.
You get worried and run after him, leaving Mingi behind.
You hold his hand to stop him from running. "What happened?" You ask.
He tightly hugs you and says, "dad is getting his operation done....because...because his cancer got worse" he said and your eyes widened.
"C-cancer???" You say and hug him back to comfort him.
"Is this what had been bothering you for so long? Why didn't you tell me?" You say as you pat his head to calm him down. He didn't say anything and just hugged you tightly.
Both of you decided to take the day off from classes and go visit the hospital. You give a call to Soojin to inform her about this.
"What??" She said as she got up from her chair, getting shocked.
"I am coming too!" Soojin said as she hangs up and leaves for the hospital as well.
She runs through the corridor and bumps into someone. She looks up to see, its the same new physics teacher. He holds her to prevent her from falling. "Are you okay?" He asks.
She just nods and runs away.
I have seen her somewhere..... He thought and suddenly remembered that she was the same girl who fell down at the party yesterday.
*at the hospital* All of you were outside the operating room, trying to comfort Jimin and his mom.
At around 3:00 am you get a text from Mingi asking if you're okay. You tell him everything and he says that everything will be ok.
Suddenly the doctor comes outside from the operating room and all of you look at him curiously.
