Part 15

"Oh ya! What did you want to tell me?" You ask.

He looks at you and says, "I have never felt like this before....
I get nervous when i am around you"

"Around me? Do i scare you?" You ask getting concerned and he chuckles.

"Do you really not know what i am saying?" He asks as he comes closer to you and stares right into your eyes.

"I am saying i like you" he said and you stare at him, with no words coming out of your mouth.
You could never imagine that Mingi would like someone like you.

You had no words.

"What about you?" He asks as he looks at you, waiting for your reply.

You take a deep sign and finally speak.
"I....am sorry"

He looks at the sky and says, "I kind of knew i'll get rejected. But i still wanted to give it a try"

Suddenly tears started coming from your eyes and you start crying.

"Oh- why are you crying? Its ok!" He says as he wipes your tears.

"Actually, I did like you for a while. But not anymore. You...are the first guy i ever had a crush on. It was fun till it lasted. Thank you,Mingi." you say with a smile and he smiles back at you.

You suddenly think of Jimin.
"I am sorry but i have to go. See you tomorrow, Mingi!" You say and run away from there, leaving him alone.

You run all the way to the boys dorm and text him to come downstairs but he didn't see your messages.
You try to call him, but it was coming as busy.

Gosh where did he go!?
You say inside your head.

You sit in a corner bench to wait for him.

*1 hour later*
You have been waiting for so long, you were dying of cold now.

You decided to give up and go back when you hear a familiar voice.
"Y/n?"

You look up and see Jimin.

You hit his arm and say, "yah! Where were you!? I have been waiting for so long!"

"I was out with Soojin...What are you doing here? Its cold!" He said as he gives you his jacket to cover up.

"why were you waiting for me?" He asks as he waits for you to speak.

You suddenly get nervous and finally speak up.
"I like you!"

His eyes widened and he couldn't even move his lips.
"What?" He said.

"Ah..I am saying I like you, idiot!" You say and get embarrassed.

Next thing you notice, he pulls you in a tight hug.

"Gosh..i really thought you like Mingi" he says and pouts.

"Why would you think that?" You ask as you let go of the hug.

"Well...you are wearing that bracelet he gave you! Didn't you like my gift!?"

You chuckle as you take out your locker keys from your pocket and show it to him.
"See! I have your keychain too" you say.

He didn't have anything to say and gets embarrassed.
You smile and hug him tightly as he hugs you back.

*outside the library*
Mingi was just sitting alone after getting rejected, when Suddenly Soojin comes.

"Oh- Mingi?" She asks as she sits down beside him.

"What are you doing here?" She asks but he didn't say anything.

She assumed that he was upset about something so she tries to cheer him up.
"Yah, you know that our cafeteria gives amazing food at night! Wanna come?" She asks.

Before he could even answer, she drags him with her.

*next day*
You were just getting ready for classes when Soojin comes towards you.
"Ooohhh...you look extra happy today! Did something good happen?" She asks.

You didn't say anything and start blushing.
"Oh? Are you blushing?" She asks as she holds your shoulders and makes you face towards her.

"What are you hiding?" She asks.

"Well...Jimin and I are dating" you say and get shy.

What the- this escalated quickly!
She thought.

"You literally rejected him that day! What is going on??" She asks.

You finally tell her everything.

"I didn't realize i liked him until Mingi confessed to me" you say.

Was that why he was upset yesterday?
She said inside her head.

"Wahh.. i envy you! Anyways, i am happy for you!" She says with a smile and gives you a tight hug.
