I guess it didn't go well.. She thought as she runs back to the terrace and sees Jimin sitting on the floor. Without much thinking, she runs and hugs him tightly.
You were going back to the dorm when you see your sister, Nayeon in front smiling at you. "Unnie!? What are you doing here?" You ask and she hugged you tightly.
"Happy birthday, My annoying sister" she said and you thank her.
"Seriously? You are wishing me so late!" You say, pouting.
"Sorry~ i was busy" She said as she took out your gift from her hand bag.
"A polaroid camera! I wanted one of these! Thank you, Unnie!" You say with a smile.
"Its your birthday...Did you go to the house to meet mom and dad?" She asked and you look down getting upset.
"Its MY birthday. They should come here. They didn't even bother to call me and wish me. Mom just sent a simple birthday text, thats all" you say and control yourself from crying as you didn't want to cry on your birthday.
Suddenly the physics teacher joined and said, "oh- what are you doing here, nayeon?"
"Oh i missed you~ i am going back to busan tomorrow" Nayeon said as she gave him a peck on the cheeks.
What the hell? You said inside your head.
"Oh- y/n! You never got to see my boyfriend right? Here, meet him! He is the guy i have been dating for two years in busan" She said with a smile and you were speechless.
"He-He is your boyfriend?" You ask and she nods.
Shit! Soojin will be hurt if she knows about this. You thought.
"You are going tomorrow right? Come, i will buy you a meal!" He said as both of them hold hands and leave.
You heard some noise from behind. You turn around and see Soojin with teary eyes.
Did she see everything? You think.
You walk towards her and hug her tightly. "Don't cry...he is not that great anyways. You deserve better" you say as you pat her shoulder to comfort her.
She didn't say anything and just hugged you tightly.
*next day* You got ready for classes and left with Soojin.

*in the class* The whole time you could feel Jimin staring at you from behind. You did feel bad for rejecting him.
Gosh its so awkward now.. You say inside you head.
Jimin noticed that you were wearing the bracelet Mingi gifted you last night. He gets up in the middle of the class. "teacher, i want to go use the washroom" he said and left after looking at you one last time.
Is he THAT sad? You thought.
*during the break* You were walking towards the cafeteria when the class president walks towards you. "Y/n, you and Mingi are supposed to settle the books in the library today. So just go with him after lunch" she said and left.
After lunch, you go to the library with Mingi.
*in the library*
"Mingi, where am i supposed to put this book?" You ask and he takes the book away from you.
"I'll put it" he said with a smile and you thank him with a smile.
Suddenly the lights went out and it went completely dark. You start freaking out but he holds your hands to calm you. "It's fine. I will switch on the flash light of my phone" he said as he takes out his phone and switches the flash light on.
You take a sign of relief and say, "much better.."
"Why? Are you scared of the dark?" He asked.
"Yeah kind of" you say and get embarrassed.
He laughs and says, "its okay. Its not a big deal"
"Lets wait for the lights to come back-" you say and suddenly your foot bumps into one of the table. You trip and Mingi tries to help you but he ended up falling along with you.
Both of you groan in pain and try to get up but then fall again. "What the-" you say, which made Mingi laugh and you laugh with him.
Suddenly the door of the library opens and both of you see Jimin standing at the doorway. He wasn't able to see much but he did see that it was you and Mingi.
"are...you guys ok?" He asked awkwardly.
"y-yeah.." You say as Mingi gets up and helps you to stand up.
There was an awkward silence between you three when the lights come back.
"I..I'll go now" Jimin said and left after glancing at you both for one last time. He quietly closes the door behind and walks away. You just stare at him as he slowly leaves.
"Are you ok?" Mingi asks and you nod.
*later* After you both were done setting the books, you both decided to leave.
"Uh y/n..do you have some time?" Mingi asks.
"what do you mean?" You ask getting confused.
"Can you spare me a minute before we leave? I need to tell you something..." He says and waits for your reply.
"Sure. Lets go outside" you say and go with him.
On the other hand, Soojin and Jimin were in the cafeteria, chatting.
Soojin: "are you ok now?
Jimin: "...yeah"
Soojin: "are you sure? Just forget about it! You have me!"
Jimin: *laughs* "ofcourse!"
Soojin: *sighs* "this is great! Both of us are miserable because of our crushes"
*outside the library* You and Mingi were standing together. He notices your wrist and says, "looks like you liked my gift,huh?"
"yeah. Its pretty!" You say with a smile and he smiles back at you.
