"The operation is still going on. We will try our best" The doctor says and goes back inside.
"You both should go" jimin says.
"We want to stay with you" you say and Soojin nods.
"You should go..its very late. Get some rest" he says as he leaves you and Soojin till outside. You give him a quick hug and leave with Soojin.
*next day* *in the class* You weren't really paying attention in the class as all you could think about was Jimin. He didn't call you or send you a single text.
"Miss y/n, could you please pay attention?" the teacher says and you snap out of your thoughts.
Mingi looks at you and whispers, "yah, are you okay?"
"Yes, don't worry" you whisper and give him a soft smile.
*after the class* *in the corridor* You were just about to text Jimin when you heard a familiar voice. "Y/n!!!"
You turn around and see Jimin running towards you. He hugs you tightly, almost making you fall. "Oh my god jimin, what happened?" You ask.
He smiles brightly at you and says, "the operation went well. He is fine!"
"What??" You get shocked as you hug him tightly.
Mingi who was standing outside the class, saw it from a far.
"Lets go in the class and tell this to Soojin" you say as you link arms with him and take him with you.
"yah,congrats" Mingi said looking away.
"Wow, are you actually being nice to me right now?" Jimin says with a teasing tone.
"Stop overthinking" He says and his eyes dropped on your arms linked with Jimin. He gets pissed and walks away.
"Oh where are you going?" You ask but he already disappears.
*at 6 pm* *in the library* Soojin, Jimin and Mingi were in the library doing a little meeting.
"Y/n's birthday is Tomorrow. Lets give her a surprise" Soojin says and Mingi and Jimin nod in agreement.
Soojin continues, "we can throw her a party at the terrace. Let's see what all we need to get. Decorations, ice, cake, food-"
"And soju!" Jimin adds.
Soojin glares at him as he gets a flashback of what he did at the party that day. "no drinks!" He says and gets embarrassed, making Mingi confused.
Something seems off.. Mingi thought.
Mingi and Jimin had gone back to the dorm and Soojin went to buy the things for the surprise party. After buying she was on her way back to the hostel, when she bumped into the new physics teacher.
"Oh- Sunbaenim?" She asks as she bows to him.
"oh- you are that same girl from the party right?" He asks.
"yeah well... Oh- you will be teaching our class too?" She asks and he nods.
Then there was an awkward silence between them when the teacher speaks up, "how come you are not wearing anything warm? You students need to take care of yourself" he says as he puts his coat over her shoulder, and leaves after giving her a little smile.
"Oh th-thank you!" She says and goes back as well.
*in the dorm*
"Oh my god, Soojin! Where were you-" You couldn't complete and she runs towards you with a shy smile.
"Y/n...i think i like someone" she says and your eyes widened.
"What?? Who is it??" You ask holding her shoulders tightly.
"The...the new physics teacher" she says and her cheeks got red.
You didn't have any words. "What? Its really rare for you to like someone and now that you do, its...its the teacher?" You say and you notice her getting embarrassed.
You smile softly as you make her sit down on the couch. "Look at you blushing~" you say as you poke her on the shoulder.
"but...he is older than me.." She says.
"Yah! How does it even matter. You're 18 and he is 23. Its not THAT big of an age difference" you say as you give her a supportive hug.
*next day* It was a sunday and you were happy that your birthday was on a holiday. During the whole day, You kept on hoping for, Jimin, Soojin or Mingi to come and wish you but no one came.
Whaa...did they forget my birthday? Soojin is not even in the dorm! Everything else is more important than ME You think and fold your arms getting annoyed.
Later in the evening you get a call from Soojin. "Y/n! Come to the school terrace. Right now!" she says.
Great..what is it? She completely forgot my birthday didn't she? You thought as you reply, "Fine"
