Jennie was beyond pissed.
It has been a long day of death practices. Jennie had just gotten home from her second acting class—she was evaluated in a separate room from the other actors—and Jisoo only had 4 hours of sleep from her all-day photoshoot. Lisa and Rosé were free as their respective schedules are being rescheduled for another day. Their company has been all-over the place this morning and Jennie couldn't get a hold of Manager Lee nor Assistant Choi.
For a brief second, she might've imagined YG Entertainment closing down.
"Atleast The Album would still be released, right?" Rosé tried to cheer her unnies up.
Lisa laughed humorlessly, throwing Rosé a foul look. "Of course, they will...but when? In three years' time? Jesus. Our solos are being moved too. I mean they could've informed us earlier this year if that was the case so we wouldn't have struggled so much rushing everything."
"Exactly, they're shit. I bet you it was another big scandal and I really would lose it if they use us again to cover them up."
Rosé rolled her eyes and said, "Teddy-oppa called earlier and said not to worry much because he would leave the company if they don't."
"Yang Hyunsuk needs Teddy-oppa. We're their freaking money-makers, bro. C'mon, raise our salaries, you butt."
"Balding, cheap frog," Jisoo added.
"Yeah, balding, cheap, frog butt."
"Honestly, leave the frogs out. They are offended," Rosé remarked.
"Takes one to know, huh?" Lisa gave Rosé a taunting smirk, which caused Jisoo to cackle loudly.
"I love that you're being extremely informal and impolite, Lali," Jennie complimented, her fury subsiding at the guffawing Lisa.
"Awe thanks, unnie. You're the only bad bitch that I respect here."
"Yah!" Jisoo yelled in annoyance. "Me too!"
"Shut up, Lalisa. I dare you to say all that to our boss' prune-like face," Rosé shrugged at Lisa.
"Oh no! Not the prunes!"
Jisoo and Jennie received the notification 15 minutes after Jennie was picked up from BigHit, and the mood hasn't improved even after she tried to look at the silver linings—more time to practice, more time to prepare, more time to compose some songs—but it would be a war to wage on if they would even credit her if she were to write one. Jisoo had been silent too.
