Cathy stared at the three men standing outside the student union, Brent, Tyrese and Lee. Tyrese stood there in his baggy jeans hanging low on his hip, flashing gold rings and a platinum cross around his neck wearing only a black tank top that showed off the tattoos on his muscular arms. He was taller than the other two and looked exactly like the intimidating thug he wanted the world to see. Despite his joking around with Brent, Cathy knew Tyrese was just as dangerous as he was attractive. And the man was extremely attractive, his smooth dark brown skin glistened in the sun light as his braids swung around his face while he talked animatedly to Brent. She understood why Dana was drawn to him and why she was intimidated by him.

Brent suddenly threw his head back and let out a loud laugh at something Tyrese said. He stood there in jeans and a football jacket sporting the colors of blue and gold which made him more handsome than usual. His curly black locks blew in the wind around his masculine features as he continued to laugh. For a moment Cathy forgot why she was approaching them. She couldn't help staring at Brent Jaggers, the man was just too good looking to exist in this world. He had so many attractive qualities, those beautiful dark blue eyes that reminded her of the ocean, tall, built, an open friendly face...approachable... at least she hoped because she was about to throw this picture in his face and give her a piece of her mind.

And then there was Lee, standing off to the side looking dark and mysterious and sexy. His long straight black hair blew over those high cheek bones that she had to admit was a straight turn on to her. He and Brent were the same 6'4 height. However, Brent had a bulky built from being a football player and Lee had a leaner muscular built that was perfect for a musician. He wore a leather jacket and leather pants and black shirt. His dark eyes stared back at the girls who passed by causing them to giggle and flirt. Cathy sighed. How could a man be so beautiful and masculine at the same time?

She smiled at the sight before her, an African-American, a White guy, and a Native American with different personalities and style all hanging out as if it wasn't unusual in a university like Seneca. She'd grown up in the south in a small town so this type of friendship wasn't normal at all. Most people stuck to their own race, but with Brent, who was the leader of their large group, who stood there looking like the All-American rich white kid, race didn't matter. He'd made her highly aware of that when he befriended Kiara and herself, plus from what she could see, most of his close friends were black. It was just another quality that attracted her to Brent Jaggers. She finally gathered the courage to approach them.

Brent stopped talking when he saw Cathy marching towards them. He smiled and stuck his hands in his pockets as he waited for her to get closer. It was the first time she'd ever approached him initially. He usually had to chase her down when he wanted her attention. Right now, she looked completely flustered and adorable. She was back in her usual dress style to his relief, wearing what looked like his mother's blue jeans, a college sweatshirt, and worn-out sneakers. Her long hair was pulled into a high ponytail and her over size glasses almost swallowed her delicate features. She had no makeup on, just a slight touch of lipstick and he still thought she was gorgeous...

What...the...actual...fuck... was wrong with him?

He started to say something when she got near but Lee suddenly stood in front of him and stared at Cathy in confusion.

"Cathy? Is that you?"

Brent snickered wondering if Lee was still attracted to her now that he knew how she actually dressed.

"Dang, lil mama, you just rolled right out of bed and went to class didn't you?" Tyrese teased.

"Oh hush," Cathy told them both, realizing this was the first time they'd ever seen her in normal clothes.
