Wendy walks through deserted plain just on the outskirts of Hosca city, crying and looking at her bare feet. "I'm so hungry and I can't use me magic to help me!" She shouts through the plains. She repeats it like a broken record as she walks. Gray's hidden behind an extra large oak tree while Erza and Lucy lay down military style on the cliff nearby. Natsu hides himself in a cave.
Soon, the man they were trying to lure in morphed in front of Wendy. "Well, well, well. A magic user, huh?" His deep voice booms.
Wendy sniffles and nods. "I'm really hungry. Do you have any food?" She innocently asks.
I have something even better than food for a girl like you." Now the second phase of our plan is in action. Aina pulls out a sword and rests it against her neck. "Now, if you do what I say, I won't kill you straight away."
Sagittarius fires his arrow into Aina's head but he ducks out of the way. Aina turns his head towards the cliff face.
"More wizards, huh? Ans a celestial one of that matter?" He says gruffly.
Natsu can feel himself itching for a fight but he has to stay calm. He was the one who made this plan up, so he has to follow it. "Requip!" Erza shouts. Her casual armour switches for her Armadura Fairy armour. It's pink with a simple breastplate joined to the collar. Many wing decorations stick from the back. She jumps off the cliff and lands gracefully on the grass. She runs to attack Aina but he sinks into the ground, popping up behind her.
Erza pivots and Natsu emerges from the cave. Aina attacks her with a samurai sword. Erza hisses and lands on the ground, face first but getting up immediately after. "C'mon Erza, beat him.
"Aye!" Happy agrees.
Erza puts on a small, wicked smile and lunges for Aina again. He dodges but Erza manages to graze his arm. "Hah! Weak!" He grins wickedly. "I'm going to have fun messing you up," he says and lunges for Erza. She jump sand, missing his attack.
"Now!" Erza screams.
"Fire Dragon: Roar!" Natsu shouts behind Aina. His signature above 100℃ an orange-y red attack directly at Aina. But he doesn't seem to flinch. He isn't harmed.
"Long range attacks don't work on me." Aina pulls out another samurai sword and throws the burnt one away. "Why don't you and I have a sword fight?" He points at Erza with his sword.
"If you really want to," she replies firmly and requips into her Clear Heart Clothing. She grips onto her Demon Blade Banizakura. "You won't hurt any of my friends!" She shouts and lunges at Aina, slashing him across the chest. He falls backwards and coughs up a lot of blood.
Aina slowly gets up and grips his sword with both hands. "You've got real good sword skills, lady." Erza wastes no time and runs towards him with her sword outstretched but he jumps over her and lands behind her.
Natsu pulls his gaze away from the fight and to where Gray is. He looks sad and deep in thought. Natsu creeps over to him and hides behind the same extra extra large tree, out of the rest of the teams view. "You good, Ice Princess?" he asks quietly.
"what would make you think any different?" He responds, not looking into Natsu's eyes but at his feet.
"You seem down, something you shouldn't be capable of doing."
"Oh shut up," he snaps quietly. Swords clash together in the background.
"Are you sure you're OK? We're family so you can tell me anything," Natsu says calmly.
"You're acting...horribly," Gray teases and looks into Natsu's eyes, tears streaming down his face.
Natsu rolls over the initial shock and pulls Gray in for a warm hug. Gray feels cool, the feeling Natsu is foreign to and how he loves it, especially when the source of it is from Gray. The skinship feels different to when it's with Lucy. It feels comforting, as if he could say anything without being judged. He tightens his grip around the shirtless male who returns the favour, burying his head into the crook of Natsu's neck, wetting it with his salty tears. Natsu feels a blush creeping up his face. "It'll be okay, Gray," he whispers into his ear.
"Don't tell a soul about this or I'll kill you," Gray growls.
Natsu rests his head on Gray's shoulder. "Well I like this myself so I wouldn't dare tell anyone else."
"Huh?"
"Well, I like-" Natsu begins, feeling confident but then a loud crash stops him. He rips himself from the comforting touch of Gray's, one he didn't think he needed and runs out to where the noise came from. Erza has collapsed onto the ground, covered in wounds while Aina was saying something while pressing his earlobe. Natsu listened in hard. "Backup...I-I repeat, back-"
Natsu stops and gets into a fighting stance. "Watch out. More are coming," Natsu warns.
"Huh? How do you know?" Lucy asks, going in to grab Natsu's hand, in which he pulls away, deepening his stance.
"Aina said it."
"Oh shoot."
"Seems as if we've found the ones who defeated Aina," a deep disembodied voice says.
Natsu turns around quickly. "Who are you?" Gray growls, coming out from behind the tree as if nothing had happened.
"We're his teammates." He nods at Aina. "We need you guys gone as quick as possible." A small plasma ball drops into his hand, the white light flowing statically through it. He presses something on it and a white hue sticks onto Natsu's body before h gets split from the rest of the team and into a shady part of the city.
"What the hell is going on?" he asks himself. "Whoever's there, come and face me!"
