Mikey and Gerard continue showing me and Frank around and me and Mikey talk a bit. I still find it amazing he loves unicorns.
Gerard and Frank are ahead talking, or rather Gerard is talking and Frank is too red to say anything.
"OK, I gotta know this. Is Gerard gay?" I ask Mikey. He nods.
"Yeah. We both are." He says and my heart flutters a bit. I might have a chance then. We get to a small cris cross in the hallways and Gerard and Frank go off together, and me and Mikey.
"So, what's there to know about you Pete?" He asks me as we turn a corner.
"Mmm nothing much really" I say, shrugging. "Just a 19 year old gæmo."
"Gæmo?" He asks
"Gæ emo" I clarify.
He looks at me, "Unicorns are real, emo is imaginary" he says and I smile. This man loves his unicorns.
"OK" I say and we continue walking around.
