61 • Hello and Goodbye

Y/n pov:

It's been two weeks since Mattia got here all beaten up. I sewed him up and he's staying in the spare room now. He's traumatised, but being with Kouvr-Mae and KJ helps. They calm him down. Kouvr-Mae's 6 and KJ turned 4. I'm also one month pregnant with the third child, but Alejandro doesn't know that yet, he's been so absorbed in finding out what happened that I couldn't tell him.

"He has to tell us soon," Alejandro sighed as we watched Mattia play with the two little ones in the garden.

"Can we get a dog?" I asked, wrapping my arms around him.

"Sure," He responded, not really paying attention.

"In 8 months," I whispered, looking up at him.

"Why 8 months? Why not now?" He asked, his eyes glued to Mattia and the kids.

"So it can grow up with the baby," I said quietly, nervous how he might react.

"KJ is already 4 though," He said, finally looking at me, but for only a second. I took his hand and he looked at me again as I placed it on my stomach.

"This baby," I whispered.

"You're pregnant?" He whispered and I nodded. "How many weeks?" He asked with a smiled.

"A month, I think," I said with a smile.

"When did you find out?" He asked as he hugged me.

"A few days after Mattia got here," I said quietly.

"That's nearly two weeks!" He exclaimed. "Why didn't you tell me?" He snapped, pulling out of my arms.

"You're mad?" I asked, confused.

"You can't keep a secret like that from me!" He snapped.

"Babe, you were busy with Mattia," I sighed.

"I'm never too busy for you," He sighed and cupped my face.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you," I whispered.

"It's okay," He smiled.

"Mummy and Daddy are going to kiss!" I heard KJ giggling.

"Shush, they're not going to now!" Kouvr-Mae laughed. I went over and picked up KJ. Alejandro picked up Kouvr-Mae as Mattia walked inside.

"Do you want to know something, Little Kio?" I smiled at the cute little boy in my arms.

"My names KJ!" He said with a cute little frown.

"Your name is Kio Junior, you're named after my sweet brother," I said as we went into the living room and I sat down with him on my lap. Alejandro sat beside me with Kouvr-Mae on his. "And you, Kouvr-Mae, are named after my beautiful sister," I smiled and tapped her nose as she smiled.

"Can we meet them?" Kouvr-Mae smiled.

"Kouvr and Kio aren't in this world, they're in this special world called heaven, that's where angels go," I said as my eyes got watery.

"Is Uncle Kai with them?" KJ asked, tilting his little head.

"Uncle Tia said that Uncle Kai is an angel, with Grandpa and Papa," Kouvr-Mae told me. I looked over at Mattia and he looked at his feet.

"Mummy, why is water coming from your eyes?" KJ asked as he knelt on my lap, putting his little hands on my face, wiping the tears away.

"Mummy's sad KJ, she misses her family, the one's who are angels," Alejandro said as KJ kept wiping them as I hugged him.
