11 • Final Choice

Alejandro's pov:

She's picking today. I'm scared. What if she doesn't pick me? What am I going to do? She seems to be really close with Mattia. She claims they're like best friends but what if they're more than that? And Kairi. She cuddles with him all the time. Whenever I go to see her and find them cuddling, this surge of anger runs through my body. God knows what that's about. But me and y/n have gotten even closer if that's even possible. I've started talking to her about my feelings and she's opening up to me.

Me, Mattia, Kairi, Kio, Dad, y/n's Mum and Dad were sitting in the living room waiting for y/n to come down after getting ready. It's Sunday so she has to pick today. It's final.

I heard her footsteps coming downstairs and my heart was pounding. God I was scared.

"Oh god, stop staring, you're gonna make this awkward," she said whilst covering her face with her hands. She came and sat in the arm chair in front of us all. She took a deep breath and then started speaking. "I've made up my mind. I know who I want to marry." She looked around the room, scanning everyone's faces but not making direct eye contact with anyone. She looked down at her hands and started fiddling with her fingers. "I actually made my mind up a few days ago. But I needed a few days to confirm it." She was still staring at her hands and her legs were moving up and down. She was nervous.
"It's okay sweetie, whenever your ready." Her Dad reassured her.
She stood up. So did me and the boys. She started walking forwards then she stopped when she was about half a metre in front of the three of us. She walked up to Kairi. She hugged him and kissed his cheek. No no, please be me. She whispered something into his ear. What was it?! She let go then walked up to Mattia. She was hugging him when she started speaking. Why don't I get a hug?! I want a hug?! Oh cmon!
"I choose," she started. She let go of Mattia, she was looking into his eyes. Oh my, I'm going to cry. I looked at the ground hoping it'd distract me from the pain. The heartbreak. God it hurts. I was in love with her and she didn't choose me. "Alejandro" I heard her say. WHAT?! Did I heard that correctly?! I looked up, at her, she was walking towards me, she wrapped her arms around my neck and I, without hesitation, wrapped mine around her waist, she went on her tiptoes and learned to my ear, "You really think I wasn't going to choose you?" She whispered.
"Yes," I mumbled hoping she wouldn't hear.
"It's you," she said, "It's always been you."

Oh my fucking god. She wanted to marry me. God, I wanted to marry her. But she wanted to marry ME?! I could feel my heart beating so quickly and I felt this weird feeling in my stomach as she pulled me in closer.

I let her go and she looked at her parents and my dad. They were all smiling at her. They looked so happy, so did Mattia and Kairi. I thought they'd be sad, but I guess not.
"Well, sorry to cut this short, but I'd like to eat snacks, have a marvel marathon and cuddle with my future husband if yall don't mind?" She said, more of a statement than a question, but expecting an answer at the same time.
"Of course sweetie, I'm proud that you made a choice. I'm happy that you're happy now," Her dad responded.
"Thanks Dad, love you lots," she said happily as she grabbed my hand and skipped off, dragging me behind her.

Y/n pov:

Oh my, I'm going to marry him. I thought it was kinda funny the stunt I pulled though, but he genuinely looked as. When I hugged Kairi I told him I was sorry, because I know how much he adores me, but maybe he can be like my brother instead of my husband. We'll see. Mattia knew what was going on. I told him before hand. We planned it, so it wasn't like he was thinking I'd pick him, I wasn't playing him. But you should have see the happiness in Alejandro's eyes when he heard I picked him. He looked like he wanted to marry me right there and then if I'm honest but I want the big day to be perfect. I want to be a princess. His princess to be exact.

We got to the kitchen and I let go of his hand and went to get some ice cream but before I could, he grabbed hold of my hand again and quickly pulled me back, turning me around. I was face to face with him. Our lips centimetres apart. He leaned in and softly kissed me. Our lips moving in sync. I pulled away and kissed his nose before running off to get ice cream, crisps and other snacks.
When I came back, Alejandro looked like he was in his own world. "Baby, you coming?" I asked softly as I kissed his cheek.
"Yes Angel," He said softly. He took some of the snacks off me and began his way to the movie room.

What did he just call me? Angel? Only Stranger called me Angel? Are they the same people?! No, they can't be. Alejandro was at home the last 2 times I went to see him. Wasn't he? Maybe he just said it as another nickname. I need to stop thinking about Stranger. He's gone and I have Alejandro.

I got to the movie room and found him laid down waiting for me, so he could use my legs as a pillow. I smiled at him and he smiled back. That smile gets me every time. His dimples are everything. I sat down and began playing with his hair. He closed his eyes, enjoying it.
"I thought I could touch your hair?" I asked, confused since he begged me last time not to touch it.
"You're going to be my wife, I have no boundaries when it comes to you," he stated, with a 'duh' tone, with his eyes closed. I smiled to myself. I'm going to be his wife. I hope I'm enough for him.
We began watching the films and we ate the snacks and cuddled. His cuddles were everything. It got to 5am, we've been watching films for like 16 hours now, the snacks are gone. I was beginning to get tired and began drifting off in Alejandro's arms. I snuggled into his arms.
"Goodnight my princess," Alejandro whispered as he kissed my forehead. He carried me to my room bridal style and got into my bed and snaked his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.
"I love you so much," he mumbled, probably thinking I was already asleep.
"I love you too," I whispered before falling into a deep sleep.
