Alejandro's pov:

It's been one whole week since y/n found out Kio died and she's currently locked herself in our bedroom, only opening it for me to take food to her. She won't speak a word. So I've decided to take her on a road trip to get a wolf cub.
*Knock knock*
She opens the bedroom door and walks back to the bed. She sits down and I place the plate with waffles, berries and cream in front of her and pass her the knife and fork. She starts eating and I walk into the wardrobe and pull out a suitcase and pack enough clothes for 4 nights since it's a long drive, 35 hours to be exact.
"You're leaving?" I hear a broken voice, the pain in her voice was something I'd never heard before. I quickly stand up and turn to her. I walk up to her and wrap my arms around her but she backs away. "Where are you going?" She says weakly.
"No princess, I'm not leaving, we're going out for a few days," I say softly.
"Where?" She frowns.
"A road trip," I say softly.
"I'm not going, go without me," She grumbled and sits back down. I sigh and finish packing mine and her stuff, despite what she said and put it in the bedroom before picking out an outfit for me and her. I pass her hers and she reluctantly takes it out of my hand.
"Get ready, we leave in an hour," I say before walking out of the room with the suitcase and my outfit. I put the suitcase downstairs and then go into the main bathroom to shower and dress.

I walk back downstairs and see y/n sat on the bottom step, dressed in the matching outfit I chose, but she added one of my hoodies which I wouldn't complain about

I walk back downstairs and see y/n sat on the bottom step, dressed in the matching outfit I chose, but she added one of my hoodies which I wouldn't complain about. I held my hand out and she stood up by herself. Oh.
"Princess," I say softly. She looks at me. Her eyes filled with nothing but self hatred. "I love you," I say softly. She simply nods. I put my hands on her cheeks and look deep into her sad eyes. "I love you," I repeat. She doesn't say anything. I kiss her nose and a slight hint of happiness appears in her eyes, allowing her to return the comment.
"I love you," She whispered before wrapping her arms around me tightly. I expected her to cry but she didn't. Eventually she sighed and I let her go. I picked up the suitcase and we walked out of the door. I put the suitcase in the car and opened her door. She got in and I got in the drivers side.

Skip to arriving at the wolf cub place

"What is this place?" Y/n asks as I pull into a farm.
"You'll see," I smile as I park. I get out and help her out. I hold her hand and intertwined our fingers before walking up to the front door. A man with a check shirt and brown trousers opened the door.
"You must be the lovely y/n," The man smiled at my wife. She clung to my arm, clearly threatened. "This way," He gestured ans walked out of the doorway and round to a field at the back of the house. I followed with y/n still clinging to me.
"There's only one left I'm afraid," The man sighed.
"That's fine," I said politely. He opened the gate and a little white wolf cub came hopping out.

Y/n immediately let go of me and went over to it with her arms open

Y/n immediately let go of me and went over to it with her arms open. She squatted down and the wolf sniffed her hands before licking her fingers and climbing into her arms. She picked it up and looked at me. She was smiling, the smile wasn't fake but it wasn't a happy smile like she used to have. "It's perfect," I smile at the man.
"It's a lot of money," The man says nervously.
"It's worth it," I say happily. The man hands me paperwork from his pocket. $10,000. I pull out my cheque book and write it down and hand him the slip. He nods.
"She's all yours," He says to y/n. She looks over at me as she lifts her focus from the cub in her arms. I smile and she looks back at the cub. "The information is in the paperwork," He says. I nod and he leads us back to the car. He goes back inside after we exchange thanks and goodbyes.
"Baby," I hear y/n. I turn and look at her. "Why?" She frowns as she looks down at the wolf.
"You need it," I say softly.
"I need you," She whispers and looks at me. "But you weren't there," She whispers.
"I tried to be there, but you locked me out of my own room y/n," I sigh.
"I needed you," She whispers as tears roll down her cheeks.
"Princess I've been right here the whole time," I say softly and wipe her tears. She shakes her head. "Princess I'm always here, you know that," I whisper. She sighs and nods her head. I open up her door and she gets inside. I close it and get in my seat.
"What are you going to name her?" I ask her as she looks at the cub on her lap.
"Alaska," She whispers. She looks up at me. It pains me to see the hurt in her eyes. "Alejandro," She whispers.
"What is it princess?" I whisper.
"Can you help me be happy?" She pleads.
"Of course I can princess, but we have something we need to go to when we get home," I say nervously.
"The funeral," She sighs. I nod. "I want to sing," She mumbles.
"You can sing?" I ask. She nods. "You never told me," I smile.
"You never asked," She shrugged.

We arrived back home and I opened her door. She got out of the car and we walked into the house. She was surprised when she saw her dad, my dad, Mattia and Kairi in the living room. I could see the fear in her eyes. Why was she scared? She looked at me and frowned. Then she quickly when upstairs with Alaska, without saying a word. I'm confused. I looked at the guys and they looked just as confused as I did. Mattia gestured for me to go after her and I did. I opened our bedroom door and saw her on the bed crying with the wolf on her lap licking the tears as she giggled.
"Hi princess," I said softly. She looked at me and her smile dropped.
"Why are they here?" She frowned.
"They miss you y/n," I say and sit on the edge of the bed and look at her.
"Same," She whispered.
"Go show them Alaska y/n," I say softly. She sighs and wipes her face.
"Okay," She says and picks up the wolf and gets up. I follow her downstairs and she looks at her dad. No one else. Just her dad.
"Hi daddy," She whispers. He smiles but I could see he was hurt just as much as her.
"Hey pumpkin," He smiled. She walked over to my dad and handed him Alaska. He happily took her and smiled at the broken girl who went over to her dad and he stood up and held her as they both silently cried. Mattia and Kairi went over to my dad to see the wolf as I sat on the sofa and waited for y/n to climb into my arms as she always did.
She eventually pulled away from her dad and he wiped her face. She sighed and came over to me and sat on my lap with her back against the sofa arm, the side of her body against my chest with her arm around my neck and her hand in my hair as she rested her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around her waist. Kairi walked over with Alaska and y/n looked up at him. He placed the snowball on her lap and she fell to sleep on her legs.
"Y/n," My dad starts. She lifts her head and looks at him.
"The funeral is tomorrow," He says softly. She nods.
"I know," She simply says. "I'm going to sing if that's okay," She adds.
"Of course that's okay, do you have something to say too?" He asks.
"I'm not sure but probably," She shrugs. She sighs and puts her head back on my shoulder and closes her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
"How has she been?" Her dad asks me.
"Not good, I've been trying but it's not made much difference," I shrug.
"She needs to recover soon, the mafias are going to need their heirs soon," My dad tells me.
"Is that all you care about?" I snap and furrow my eyebrows at him.
"Don't raise your voice at me son!" He snaps back.
"Well don't talk about y/n like that, she can have as long as she needs to recover, the mafia can wait," I frown at him, angry that he thinks so little of y/n.
"I call the shots here, are you forgetting that?" He snaps at me.
"How could I forget that? But it does not mean y/n isn't allowed to grieve for her brother!" I grumble at him.
"You've gone soft son," He snaps.
"So what if I have?" I narrow my eyes at him.
"She makes you weak," He laughs.
"Talk about me all you like, but say another thing about Alejandro and you're out of this house," I hear y/n snap from my shoulder which startled me. She lifts her head and looks directly at my dad. He laughs.
"You're a little girl, you can't do shit. You're just as weak as him," He laughs.
"You think you're funny?" She snaps. She gets up and moves Alaska onto my lap before walking towards my dad. "Out!" She shouts and points towards the door. He doesn't move.
"You heard her," I snap. He frowns at me and stands up and storms out. Y/n sighs and comes and sits back on my lap and puts Alaska on hers again.
"We should get off anyway, it's getting late," Her dad says.
"I'll see you tomorrow," Y/n says quietly and closes her eyes. Everyone says goodbye and leaves, leaving me and y/n.
"I love you," She whispers.
"I love you," I repeat back to her.
