"Hi Uncle Kai, I miss you, Uncle Tia said that you'll be happy as an angel, but I don't want you to be an angel, I want you to come and see me and tuck me into bed when I have a nightmare and I'm too scared to wake up mummy and daddy, I want you to give me cute teddy bears every time you come, I like present from you, I love teddy bears, I love you Uncle Kai, please come back and give me more teddy bears," He said, getting upset. "I want you to come and help me poop, or hold me when I'm crying about Mummy and Daddy shouting at each other at night, it scares me, because I'm scared they won't love me anymore if they don't love each other," He said quietly. I looked at Alejandro and he looked so heartbroken.

"Baby, me and Daddy will always love you, it doesn't matter if me and daddy are mad at each other," I said softly.

"That's good," He smiled sweetly. "I will always love Uncle Kai even if he is a pretty angel," He said sadly. "Daddy, your turn," He said and looked at Alejandro.

"Why don't you go and see Uncle Tia so me and Mummy can say goodbye together?" He said quietly. KJ got up and ran off inside. I moved closer to Alejandro and put my head on his chest and sighed.

"Nothing ever went right for Kairi," I whispered as I drew circled on his stomach. "After everything, you'd think he'd be the one to make it out, find love and start a family. He was the one who deserved it. He deserved so much and got so little," I went on.

"Kairi would've been better for you than I am," He whispered.

"Don't think like that, please," I whispered. "I love Kai, he's like my brother, he's always been like my brother, my best friend," I whispered. "You're the love of my life, my ride of die," I told him.

"Oh Kai," Alejandro sighed. "Where do you think he is?" He whispered.

"I think he's happy, I think that's what God would give him, everything he wants in a world of his own," I told him.

"I hope so, god I really hope so," He whispered.

"Would anyone like to say a few words in honour of the fallen?" The priest spoke. I stood up. God knows why I stood up but I did. "Mrs Rosario?" He asked. I nodded and made my way to the stand.

"Mum, Dad, Kio, Kouvr, Kairi, Jaden, Josh, Clayton, the list goes on. I'm not old. Not old enough to have lost so many people I need more than two hands to count them. Mum died in an attack. Dad died in an attack. Kouvr died in an attack. Kairi, attack. Jaden, attack. Josh, attack. Clayton, attack. But Kio, Kio didn't. Kio died because he couldn't cope with the people around him dying. Imagine watching your own mother die and your sister being too absorbed in her marriage to notice you were broken? People don't notice these things. But I can't lose anyone else. So, I want to speak for Mattia. No, he wasn't a member of the fallen. He was the only member of the survivors. He lived to tell the tale. To tell how well the Rosario-Cyrs fought that day. He lived because God willed it. He still has purpose left. Everyone else? They got a lifetime with God, of peace. Mattia's purpose? Maybe it's to make peace. I don't want to stand up here and preach about God, he's given me everything I asked for and took everything I loved in return. I have my family, my two beautiful children, my gorgeous husband and my next child. I'm not going to stand here and talk about how good those people were, because you knew them, you knew how amazing Clayton was. How caring Kairi was. How strong Dad was. How tactical Jaden and Josh were. You already know. But we need peace now. We don't need guns, or bombs, or knives. We need lego, and teddies, and toys. We need cookies and brownies. I choose life. I choose happiness. But you don't need to choose it too," I finished. Alejandro stood up and clapped, as did everyone else. I smiled and went over to Alejandro and his arm slid around my waist and he kissed me.

"I'm with you until my very last day," He whispered.

"Keep it PG, little eyes are watching," I whispered and played with his curls.

"Learn young?" He whispered. I chuckled and stood my head.

Everyone was lowered into their graves as I stood with Alejandro, Kouvr-Mae and KJ. Mattia came over and Kouvr-Mae held his hand. I smiled and Alejandro rubbed my waist.

"I'm so proud of you," He whispered.

"Me? You're proud of me Daddy?" KJ grinned.

"Yes, but I'm proud of your mummy too, she's a very strong beautiful woman," Alejandro told him.

"Mummy's very beautiful," KJ smiled.

"She is," Alejandro chuckled, making me blush.

"Hahah, mummy's gone all red!" KJ giggled. I chuckled and shook my head. We all went home and put the children to bed. Me and Alejandro went into the bedroom and I went into the bathroom.

"Can I join?" I heard Alejandro.

"No," I chuckled, turning around. He moved closer and lifted my top up and threw it on the floor. "That was not sexy," I laughed.

"Shut up," He laughed and unclipped my bra and I slid my arm out.

"Jeez, so turned on," I laughed.

"I'm literally not trying to sleep with you, I'm trying to take care of you," He chuckled.

"Sure," I smirked.

"Stop," He whispered.

He lied.

"I need to sleep," I groaned, cuddling into his chest.

"Jeez, you're getting old," He teased.

"Shut up, I'm just not used to it anymore," I whispered.

"Don't get used to it, you're pregnant so we'll have to wait even longer," He whispered.

"Sucks to be you," I teased.

"Sucks, huh?" He smirked.

"Oh my," I laughed.

"I love you, y/n," Alejandro sighed, rolling onto his side and hugging me.

"I love you, Alejandro," I whispered.

End of pov.
