Y/N first met Remus Lupin in her seventh year. She had always known of his existence, it wasn't hard when all of the girls in Hogwarts had fawned over his friend group. But she was never one of those girls because she had a boyfriend.

Y/N had been dating a boy since fifth year and had been loyal to him, although the same couldn't be said for him. But Y/N was too scared to leave him because the feeling of being alone was scarier than dealing with his continuous cheating.

She knew it was pathetic, and her friends told her to leave countless of times but she never did. She fell in love with him very early into their relationship, she knew he didn't love her back, but experiencing a love, whether it be fake would be better than being alone.

So here she was, sat on a very snowy day in the Three Broomsticks. She was busy staring outside the window, looking at the snowflakes fall to the ground all at once.

She was brought of her daze harshly by her friend, Lily Evans snapping in her face. "Y/N! Y/N? Merlin, what's caught your attention?" She looked back at the girl, "Sorry. I was just lost." "Obviously. Anyways, go get our butterbeers." "Why can't you, or Dorcas?" She rolled her eyes. "Because Y/N, we did nose goes and obviously you weren't paying attention to notice so you lost."

Y/N sighed. "Fine, I'll go get them sweet little Lily-Flower." She mocked. "How sweet of you dear Y/N. So thankful to have you as my best friend."

She made her way to the bar and ordered three butterbeers. When they were done, she picked them all up at once and made her way back to Lily and Dorcas but not before she was suddenly pushed and all of the butterbeers spilt over her nice jumper and jeans. She looked over at the culprit.

The one and only Remus Lupin.

His eyes went wide as he scanned her body. "Oh merlin I'm so sorry!" He began to pick up the cups from the ground. "It's fine." She gave him a stiff smile. "No literally, you're covered." "I think I can see for myself actually."

Him continuously apologizing was beginning to gather an audience, and she just wanted all of these eyes off of them. It even grabbed the attention of his friends, which was extremely embarrassing. The schools sweethearts were all staring at her drenched in warm butterbeer.

She looked over at Lily who was using her hands to cover up the smile creeping up her face. Lily and Dorcas stood up next to Y/N and Lily apologized to Remus.

"Sorry Remus, but it seems our dear friend Y/N needs to go immediately. Have fun cleaning up that mess." She also gave him a stiff smile, to which he reciprocated.

The three of them left the Three Broomsticks immediately, and the Marauders went to help their friend with the mess the butterbeer caused.

"Oh godric that was so embarrassing." Y/N huffed. "I mean, it's not the worst thing in the world." Dorcas smiled. "Yeah but, christ, getting butterbeer spilled all over you by Remus Lupin isn't something I would ask to happen when I walk into the Three Broomsticks.

"What Y/N, do you have a crush on him?" Dorcas wiggled her eyebrows. "As if. I'm still with Edward anyways." "Yeah but how's that going for you?" Lily raised her eyebrows. "Oh shove off, you." "I'm serious Y/N you can't continue to let than man walk all over you every chance you get. I'm actually going to start having to interfere at this point." "Don't." Y/N shot Lily a deadly glare.

"Okay fine, I won't. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to try to get him in trouble for being an overwhelming git." "Try as hard as you want Lily Evans."
