PROMISE: jinlia series

Chapter : 7

3rd person's POV:

Grunts and groans can be heard as students trained under the sunny day. Drops of sweat falling off their foreheads, bodies aching from moving too much. But this doesn't stop them as they want to show off their potential.

Yeji groaned and laid on the grassy ground after the intense training with Ryujin.

"Gosh that was tiring. You didn't have to go full out. My body is aching!!" She grumbled.
Ryujin only looked at her and dust off the dirt in her suit. The others laughed at her.

"That was your fault tho. You nearly wet ryujin's hair, you know she doesn't like that." Hyunjin said while felix snickered at yeji to which she replied by rolling her eyes.

"Training is good for you. It'll help you master your ability." Ryujin says as she sat down with the others followed by yeji. Ryujin watched as Lia duel's with another student.

Lia fights her opponent hand to hand. She dodged when the other tried punching her in the face. She twisted the guys arm making him scream. He pushed lia away from him to which she gained her balance right after.

They continued to fight. Balled fists flying right at each other. The guy landed a punch on lia's jaw, bruising her lips. Ryujin hands flinched at this. Itching to take down that guy right there but stops herself. The guy smirked at lia thinking he's cool. Lia only tilted her head cracking her bones and stared at the guy. He suddenly felt intimidated. Lia started running at him in full speed, hopping off the ground, she circled her legs on his neck and brought her weight down, making them fall with lia's legs still on him. She tightens her grip on him, choking him, this lasted for a few seconds before he taps her legs. Signalling that he's admitting his defeat. Lia pulls away and starts to stand up, a satisfied smile on her face. Changbin started clapping followed by the others. Impressed by the girls skills.

"Woahh she's good."Soojin says.

"Yep, i very much agree. She's the most skilled out of the three of us." Yuna replies. Chaeryeong nodded.

Yeji leans on Ryujin to whisper.
"To think that she's a light elemental. Isnt that rare?"Ryujin shrugs in reply. 'I know..' Ryujin joins in clapping. She was impressed so why not show it.

Lia approached them with a shy smile and sat beside Yuna.

"Lia you were so good out there!!" Sakura complements. She shook her head and smiled.

"Thankyou.. but really im not that good. I still lack alot." Lia replies.

"Pfft~ nonsense unnie. Even the guy was choking from embarrassment. Thats just how good you are." Yujin said. Lia only laughed at this and started to converse with them. Ryujin glanced at lia from time to time, worried of the bruise in her lips, she made sure not to be obvious but Yeji knows her too well, she noticed this but decided not to speak up.

Yeji then stared at a specific pale girl. She felt giddy when chaeryeong smiled.

'She's so cute~' She felt her whole body boil in happiness, suprising her. Standing up she went to get water to give to the others as she figured they might be thirsty. Going back she handed it to them one by one. Her cheeks turning red when hers and chaeryeongs fingers touched. She sat back down thinking by herself.

'I haven't felt like this for so long..........' She sighed. Shrugging her thoughts off, she closed her eyes for a couple of minutes to rest.

Everyone closed their lockers and packed their bags. Training was finally done. Getting out of the rooms, the eleven of them met on the hallway.

"Hey you guys going?" Yeji asked. Chaeryeong nodded. "Yeah"
