As soon as we arrived at the beach, the breeze hit my face as the smell of the ocean pleasantly filled my nostrils. I hadn't been to the beach in a really long time, I think the last time I was here was when I celebrated my 9th birthday with my parents.

I only had good memories at the beach, it was a place where bad things never happened. It was calming to listen to waves and people talking to each other as children ran across the sandy beach playing catch. So I knew that it would've been the perfect way to end our 'date' here.

"Woman, Tommy, beach," Tommy said as he shifted his camera from me to himself then to the scenery at the beach.

I took off my shoes and started running into the sand as Tommy filmed me. I turned back my shoulders toward Tommy's direction and held my hand out to him as the wind blew my hair towards my right.

I saw him mouth some words but I couldn't understand what he said. He then turned off the camera and started walking towards me. It was as if time was going in slow motion, everything was perfect. The lighting, the direction of the wind, the scenery, and most importantly the person in front of me.

"Come on," I said as I grabbed his hand and we ran along the the ocean. It was as if we were in a romance novel and were the main characters. It felt surreal, like we were in a movie.

Suddenly, music could be heard from a nearby band that was busking by the beach.

Honey I love you, that's all she wrote

Oh, Ophelia
You've been on my mind girl like a drug
Oh, Ophelia
Heaven help a fool who falls in love

I turned on his camera once more as I pointed at seashells on the ground while Tommy picked them up and placed them in my hand.

"It's said if you have a problem, the answer is slavery," I said into the camera. Tommy paused and looked up into the camera and laughed.

After that, we decided to make sand castles and see who could make the nicest one without any tools. It was obvious who won, but he kept insisting that it was him.

"Guys, I obviously I won this one," He said to his camera as he filmed both castles. I laughed and tiptoed to Tommy's eye level as he turned the camera back to himself.

"Give me my well deserved screen time," I said as I looked at myself through the reflection of the camera lens.

Suddenly a there was a flash. A little girl holding a Polaroid camera stood in front of us.

"Here you go!" She said as she happily handed over the Polaroid to me. I smiled and thanked her for it before her parents came and brought her back.

"Are we that photogenic? Why do people keep taking pictures of us?" I asked as I tilted the Polaroid towards my left to show Tommy.

"That's nice, I want it," Tommy said as he reached over to grab it. However, I moved faster and quickly put it in the back of my clear phone case.

After walking around the beach for about an hour, we found a nice seating area to rest on. I took out Tommy's camera and started reviewing the footage that we had taken from the whole day.

It started replaying a random video I clicked on, it was me looking back at Tommy while holding out my hand. I listened closely to hear what he said earlier since I couldn't hear him.

"She's so pretty isn't she," He whispered in the video.

I looked up from the camera and was met with his gaze. He just stared down at me, not smiling, not frowning, he just stared at me as if I was his whole world.

"What?" I said as I looked away trying to laugh it off. Easing the built up tension we had from watching that video.

"It was a joke, for the video," He said looking away as well. He got up from the bench and held out a hand to help me get up.

The sun was currently setting. He got his camera and filmed the last clip for the day. He zoomed in and out of the sky then tilted his camera down towards me as I looked up and gave a big smile.

He then switched off his camera and put it back into the protective case. We were finally done with filming for the day. So we silently watched the sun as it set below the ocean.

"Y/N, do you like anyone right now?" Tommy asked me breaking our loud silence.

"Yeah," I replied not taking my eyes off of the sky.

"Oh, who do you like?" Tommy asked me again as he shifted his head to look down towards me.

"You," I answered as I slowly turned my gaze towards him.

Heaven help a fool who falls in love.
