loving you
when you do not love me back,
hurts more than i ever expected.
it feels like a child losing its favorite toy
and crying about it for days.
the difference is,
the child's toy can be replaced,
you cannot.
of course i can try to find someone else,
who will love me
as much as i love you.
but my love for that person
will not even come close
to my love
for you.
