Fire

Burning bright, burning light filling the world with radiant light

Embers flutter around a hazel ground

And sparks fly past the moon's gaze.

Fly on by, fly on by until your heat embraces another one

Come on, come on and open your bright door

And show the way into your home.

If everyone knew what a humble thing of nature you were

Nobody would be afraid of what you can do

When others anger you and cause you to change.

When you change your radiancy vanishes

Your warm embrace is now a thing of the past

For now you are a destructive thing.

Go along, go along, upon this path which you follow

People cry, people cry and wonder why you would betray them

This humble light which gives us warmth in the harsh coldness

Is now killing and burning everything in its path.

What a beauteous thing, a wicked cause of nature

It will fill us with warmth and comfort

Trying to buy people with its tender love.

Before turning its back on those who embrace it

And transforms into a chaotic symphony of death

                                      Burning everything that betrayed it.
