The first thing Ezra noticed was snow. Snow and ice and frosted winds. It wasn't as cold Hoth, he had heard the stories, but it was still colder than he was used to." Welcome Ilum." Kannan said." Kannan, will you please tell me what we are doing?" Ezra pleaded." Fine. I brought you here to help you get something you desperately need: a lightsaber." Ezras face paled dramatically." What's wrong, ezra?" Kannan asked." Why would you bring me here? Even after you knew about my vision?" Ezra began to look genuinely frightened and kannan sighed." I'm scared." Kannan smiled." Everyone's afraid but an old friend told me that everyone is afraid and that your fear shows your true self." The small ship landed on the snow ridden ground. The two hopped out and went over to the large stone temple in front of them. A small opening in the rock led to a tunnel with a metal and stone door." Are you ready kanna?" Kannan eyed him confused." Im not going in." He said gently." What? Where are you going to be?"" Out here, meditating." Ezra was beginning to grow worried." Ezra, you can do this. You need to do this. Do you know how to prepare to crystal?" He asked gently." Yes. You find it, extract it, and then you meditate on it until you feel your soul binding with theirs." Kannan nodded." Okay." Ezra said, getting a little breathless." Time to go." He walked slowly to the door, turning back only once." May the force be with you, Master." Kannan smiled as the door started to close." And also with you." The door slammed shut and all he could do was sit on top of the snow, hear it crunch beneath him, wait, and pray that his padawan would find his way to him again. Ezra took a deep breath from the other diddle of the door." Okay, ezra. You can do this." He turned around and started following his sense. He could feel the crystal pulsating through the Force. He kept walking, trying to count the turns so he could find his way back. He finally gave up and let the force guide him. After who knows how long of walking, he found a large cavern. A large door stood directly in front of him, with the sign of the Jedi engraved on it. He felt an incredibly large pull coming from the other side. He closed his eyes and raised his hand. As he did, the door opened with the groaning of stone against stone. When he was done however, he was more drained than he had been in a while. When the door opened, he saw a bright, blue light. He reached out and grabbed the small crystal from the rock ledge. He sat down and pulled out the metal lightsaber hilt from his backpack that kannan had helped him prepare. Then he did the only thing he could do. He set the crystal down in front of him and meditated and somewhere outside of the door, a master meditated in order to calm his pounding heart and clouded mind.
