Ashton's POV

"Nikita... how, what, why?"

"Let's just say I wanted to surprise my little cousin, Cassia, and have a little catch up with everyone"

"So you turn up out of the blue, just like that, after having left for a year without a trace" Cassia said, her face emotionless.

"I'm sorry okay, chill!" she went to hug Cassia, who brushed her off.

"Chill? We used to be so close, how could you just leave like that?"

"And we still are. Listen, I wanted to call you so bad and if I could have written you a letter I would have... but it wasn't so easy"

"What do you mean?" she crossed her arms.

The girl, Nikita I believe her name was, took a bottle of vodka from one of the counters and took a swig from it.

"I got kicked out of Armor Hill"

"Tell me something I don't know" Cassia rolled her eyes, "You've been expelled so many times, God knows where you'd be if your dad wasn't so wealthy"

"Well this time for good. Mother and father had had enough so they sent me to Hartford prep boarding school, it's hours away... they even took my phone to fully cut me off"

"Cut you off from who?"

"Everyone. Everything. Literally" she took another swig from the glass bottle.

"But why?"

She rolled her eyes, "Father doesn't want the press knowing, it could influence his work"

"Well what about Josh?"

"He's in the same boat as you" her eyes clouded as she looked down.

"Oh I... I didn't realise-"

"It's okay, it must've been hard for you... I don't blame you for being angry"

They exchanged sympathetic smiles.

"I think this calls for a toast" Calum smirked, seizing the moment as an opportunity to hand out the deceiving orange liquid to the four girls, "Welcome back!" he raised his glass.

"Welcome back" they chanted, raising their glasses.

"Welcome back" I muttered, not delaying to consume the golden liquid.

"Come on now, only good girls sip" Michael winked at Abbygael.

In a sudden outburst, Abbygael began to chug her drink, slamming it down on the counter before snatching Amelia's cup and chugging it all at once.

All our jaws dropped. Why did Michael's words have such an effect? And who'd have thought Abbygael had it in her to drink that fast?

"You've seen nothing yet" she wiped her mouth.

I laughed at her 'out of the blue' behaviour, "This should be fun" I mumbled to Calum who had already started pouring several more cups for the girls, they wore a priceless look on their face.

"I'm surprised that Cassia has not told you boys of my crazy antics" Nikita smirked at us, "If there is one thing I am known for around here besides my surname- it is that I am the life of the party" She grabbed Calum by the shirt and dragged him out of the kitchen towards the raging crowd of sweaty, hormonal teenagers.

"Woooo!" she screamed, many people close by instantly recognised her and burst into screams of joy at her return. She seemed very popular.

"Let's go" I took Abbygael's hand and lead her into the crowd.
